I believe the farm-out will be concluded after the granting of 25 year licence not before. After all they are renaming the wells and may be re-jigging the outline of licence areas while they are at it. It would be a bit silly and confusing to draw up legal agreement before this is concluded. I believe they have drawn up an agreement 'in principle' at the moment re. the farm-out. A lot of things will fall into place with the granting of the 25 year licence. We just need to be patient.

my apologies.......to clarify, the Kabanga Nickel Project is in Tanzania! (South West of Lake Victoria) Currently lacks supply of electricity for it's development (but soon to be remedied) the railway will continue onward to Rwanda and Burundi.

we are still an exploration company even if we are 'producing' as Jay overoptimistically puts it. Not quite ready for a full Zubair takeout in my opinion.

the whole idea of farm-out is basically to put a fair price on the share in relation to the recent CPR (as none of the brokers bothered to) The Zubair's own holding will benefit if they pay a full and fair price for the farm-out.

As an specialist in investment (not in running small exploration companies themselves) the Zubairs won't be looking to take us out completely, but do no doubt look forward to an approach from another oil major to offer all of us an offer we can't refuse. That is why I think they will help us make an acquisition outside Tanzania which is cash-generative. It doesn't necessarily have to be Cameroon it could be in Morocco or elsewhere. By adding to Aminex's assets they can still retain a non-controlling stake in Aminex. As Malcy said, the deal is a complicated one.

I don't know Appache, but they should try ANYTHING which can be relied upon to get things moving......:-))
