may have figured out why our bb is so depressed......have you ever spoken to someone on the other side of the world and your call gets diverted to one of them which has a lag of a few seconds? when you speak to each other you both sound miserable and depressed! I think the slow chart changes here cause people to get despondent in a similar way!!! I have been watching google finance today and it was a lot more cheerful to witness. I enjoy chat on LSE but if it gets slow and sad here nip across to see it on google!

better to watch sp movements on google finance where you can see movements second by second - more encouraging than on here which lags behind

a good point, by running the water-producing well they would drain it sooner and calm down the worriers. Producing from that well it shows an honest interest in data gathering and little concern over the necessary production of the perched water (if they wanted to hide negative facts they could just produce from the dry well!)

As for a rapid transition, the grid can barely cope with people putting their kettles on during strictly come dancing ad-breaks so how will it manage everyone plugging in their car? BP want a cheap buy in price? oil majors have neglected to go shopping for fresh fields for too long and it is known they need to replenish soon...unless they are now able to issue magic fairy dust and everyone doesn't mind squeaky wheels

they probably got the 'water' idea from Warwick Deep well which produced watery mix as it was poorly connected/ blocked off from the widely encountered 'oil column', so it would have started with an oil column but then would have drawn out the oil it had in the isolated section without drawing in more oil from a wide area....that's what I'm guessing

failed to read the rns correctly, showing in their calculations no value to the 'discovery' of moveable light oil at Warwick! they must have been lazy or in too much hurry reading it not to notice the flow rate was 'unassisted' and the clean-up incomplete at the time. Like most of the other brokers and journalists they skimmed through the rns and picked out the flow rate figure without understanding it's technical context. The only one who called it right was Malcolm Graham Wood!

Think definitely oversold to the point of stupid. Think the analysts who took the flow rate as uncommercial failed to understand that fact that it was natural flow unassisted by an esp and have jumped to a wrong conclusion. Pi's panicked when the HUR management did not explain that it was merely an exploration well (a successful one because mobile oil was found), they should have explained they did not intend to produce from it anytime soon. rns could have been better presented and they needed to react to the misunderstanding sooner. I stand by my belief that Warwick resources will get huge upgrade when reviewed volumetrics are published

suggest you do proper research on the behaviour of water cut in fractured basement plays... articles out there, graphs showing how perched water comes out...increases at start of well production then declines as perched water is cleared..it's all expected

says... flow rate pretty standard for west of Shetland, most wells there do not flow naturally and need gas or water injection. Once cleaned up and electronic submersible pump used WW will be another producer... also see rns said well did show signs of cleaning up at time flow rate was being assessed, so not a case of it won't......just out of time with the rig hire and weather for now

if EPS worth 38.5p.......no value ascribed to Lincoln and imminent LC hookup, no value to anything else......light oil and possible giant field at Warwick. Too much negativity, but then some want a bargain!
