Carbonix, so about where they were (except for a lower cost base, hopefully) when Nico took over from Ed & co. If this is true still implies that whilst progress has definitely been made they are likely to be loss making....

B787, based upon full, current schedule for 31 days gives 176 flights in Mozambique, 346 flights in Zimbabwe and 474 flights in Tanzania. The first two utilise a 50 seat ERJ145 whilst the later a 96 seat E190. As for utilisation I think I saw 95% in Mozambique and Zimbabwe, but don't know about Tanzania. As for average fares who knows!!

Guzbod, they also own mines in Canada. However, they no longer own the Roaster IP as this was sold to SPMP in exchange for 40% ownership of SPMP and $6m.

Forestfred, don't believe the folks on here who don't seem to like me very much as I am positive about the company and think Neill, and the team, are doing excellently (otherwise why would I still be holding?). I will, however, be happier when some of the potential - that the recent strings of good news (be they collaborations with major companies or the establishment of a JV in China) - become firm things in reality with either commercial products supporting a steady flow of orders and / or a fully closed JV agreement and production started in China (and therefore revenues to VRS). As you say possibly not long to wait now (for China news at least) and so we shall see....

You may be in for a wait as this last occurred (the Grant of Options) on 7th December 2017 with no news then forthcoming until after those options were sold on 5th January 2018 - I would therefore suggest that if there is any such signal it is when any sale, rather than grant, of options occurs....

Able, the only problem with your post - quite sane and sensible in my opinion - was that you dared to challenge the orthodoxy here that is basically 'the only way is up', unfortunately this usually leads to abuse and name calling....ignore it as it says a lot more about them than it does you.

Dubbs99, IMO that is not an II buying but rather some HNWI - especially if you believe what gets said on the other BB. if it were an II building there would either be many more similar sized trades or a number of much larger trades.

fjetcrazy, I agree that this is a sensible approach to launching a new route. My point however, is what else do they have planned to fill up her available time (and that of her two sisters as there are supposed to be 3 ATR joining the fleet by the end of March)?

From 1st March. Though with the limited schedule, and only one late afternoon flight on each day, I wonder what the plans are to keep the ATR busy??

Luckyorange, you are right the key to the China deal (should it be successfully closed) and any subsequent ones that may follow are the terms of that deal - as is always the case doing a bad deal for the sake of having a deal is worse than not having a deal. For me I would hope for: - high (40+%) JV ownership stake - no upfront CAPEX / OPEX - leasing of machinery from VRS rather than purchase - one off fee to secure a licence - on-going licence fee based upon $ per gram produced - additional fees payable for training etc - VRS to establish intermediate processing plant / company to supply processed raw material (as this is like the Coca Cola secret recipe) and be the only such source - support to IPO a minority stake in VRS Hong Kong, in China, at a later date if VRS so choose - geographic, and other, restrictions to sales from the JV so that it doesn't compete with VRS - share in any developed IP from Graphene Valley in line with JV ownership % I'm sure I could come up with more points but these would be a good start...

Wassatt, my issue isn't the loan / debt but rather the terms associated with it, and my perception that the debt load after the recent OO isn't as low as we thought it was (ie we now owe $6.1m rather than $3.5m) and within those terms how we pay it off by 30th June...

Marksman, this has been talked about for so long I wouldn't hold your breath (I suspect the 6 months quoted is wishful thinking!). Note also the 23 doesn't include either Tanzania or Zambia (or Uganda and Malawi for that matter). Nice to see Nico quoted in the article - shame the poor long suffering shareholders don't get to hear from him....

If you read that other BB you'd think that this had been secured for VRS (Nanene) and no-one else (anywhere globally) has it or will get it for their version of Graphene, I wonder if, and when VRS will obtain such certification???
