PDP, SPMP funding has been sorted for a while, its TSTR funding you should be worried about. For me this is all about Odey exerting control and positioning themselves for the end game for us poor PIs. IMHO we may not have much longer to wait....

To me whilst it is true that they didn't need to have an OO, and that to buy out TSTR is down the back of the sofa loose change, it does allow for some financial engineering, with a lower takeout price, whilst generating some positive PI PR, and nothing more.

Digore, I too suspect this is what will happen - sometime before 30th June when all the outstanding loans / debt ($3.5-6.1m) have to be paid off. This scenario has been discussed before where it was suggested that any buyout price has to be at least the same as the highest SP in the preceding 12 month period. Which if correct would be 0.29p, which personally I would probably accept.

Taskmaster, I say stalled as there seems to be no growth (frequencies, routes) and they even have 3 aircraft sitting on the tarmac in France without any apparent, or imminent, plan for their use (and they've been sat there for the last 5 months!). I seem to recall previous management did something similar with 2 A319s and that really worked out well....

scottcorp, whilst I agree an update would be very useful, as would profit, I'm not expecting either any time soon, and the cynic in me suspects that because of the lack of the latter there is no desire to give any news / update because: - there really isn't any (the business appears 'stalled') - profitability was promised by Q4 (which I don't think was achieved) and so giving an update would include admitting this - I suspect current management is less 'open' than the previous one

Let's just hope this manifests itself into FJET finally being awarded rights to the HRE-BUQ and BUQ-JNB routes, and that this happens sometime soon!

lse99, no you didn't miss any news as there hasn't been an official announcement in relation to this. I picked it up from the latest Vox Markets podcast where NR said it had been established, and so went looking. I guess there will be no announcements concerning Versarien Graphene (Hong Kong) Limited until it comes to signing the China JV deal as it will be the Versarien related counter-party. Interesting that Graphene is in the name I wonder if this is to a) help marketing in Asia and b) with an eye on any future Asian Stock Market listing (should one ever occur)?

taskmaster, I posted these ads (and one for Ground Engineers) a week or so ago - could be local shortages / churn or for expansion as there has been talk of Maputo and Bulawayo (and the oft nearly launched Lusaka) as potential routes from Zimbabwe.

When this was originally announced - back in September 2017 - it always said there were 3 such aircraft and that they would be deployed within 6 months (ie by 31st March 2018) so hopefully we will find out very soon, though given Managements execution ability - see Kigoma for instance - which doesn't appear any better than the previous management I wouldn't hold my breath.... Given that they've been painted I wonder how much they are costing to be sitting around (the same as a couple of A319???).

fjetcrazy, a march start would be good - as that's from as early as this Thursday!

The only thing, IMO, that will save the PIs from the scenario predicted is if production (and not just commissioning) actually starts before the fundraise is required. I also don't think Odey care as they'll win as soon as any fundraise is launched, regardless of SP.
