Wassatt, you've got to hope so as there will be no dividend, of any size, to TSTR (from SPMP) for at least 3 years and for us poor PIs (from TSTR) for probably another year after that (ie 2022)!! Why because of co-terminus year ends and the timing of the first (currently) proposed SPMP dividend (after FY 2020 ending on 31st December 2020).

Krispy, the problem with your calculations is that they require SP direct correlation to Turnover rather than to Earnings (which in this case will be significantly lower as these will only be a [small] % of profits that gets paid out as Dividends) thus they could easily be a factor of 10 (or more) smaller..... IMHO it is wrong to focus upon the TSTR share of SPMP Turnover as the real value driver is the (hopefully) on-going Dividend stream, which will not start before 2020 - and is much smaller. In the meantime the SP 'should' improve as the plant is finally Commissioned and moves into Production, assuming that the 30th June 2018 Loan Repayment requirements don't continue to depress it.

...ratio of 1 tonne of Graphite into Graphene (Nanene)? ie what is the yield from 1 tonne of Graphite as this'll allow us to estimate a price for Nanene (Graphite is currently $750-1,600 per tonne dependent upon type and flake size). On a similar note, as posted previously, via Sigma Aldrich inks cost ca. �445 per 10ml - containing up to 1 gramme of Graphene / 10 ml.

I apologise if having differing views, and not constantly suggesting 'the only way is up' offends you, but to me a BB should contain different views / observations or would you prefer this becom,es like 'that other place' where they set up a whole new discussion thread so that only 'acceptable' views / comments were aired?

Max, calm down and stop being so sensitive. There was no market abuse just a singular, fact based, opinion being posted. As for belittling the company this is also not true - establishing a permanent presence [even if currently very small and shared] is a good thing, and a positive step forward for VRS - my post was more about adding some realism / pragmatism to stop people thinking this was an office, staffed by many, with VRS above the door, handling 100s of enquiries and being constantly engaged with near neighbours Apple and Tesla et al, when IMHO this isn't the case (based upon the public facts I can ascertain).

capt, I wasn't expecting anything other than some form of shared space (the broom cupboard as you called it) though I had hoped for something / someone perhaps a little more full time / proactive.

Been looking in Mr Marko Ruusinen and to me his role looks very much like a part time one for VRS: - his LinkedIn profile has him as CEO / Chair of many organisations, including 1 or 2 from earlier in 2018 BUT VRS is not even mentioned - he rarely tweets about VRS / Graphene but constantly does so for the other organisation that are mentioned on his LinkedIn profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/markoruusinen/ Therefore, whilst it's true to say VRS has a presence / Sales Office in Palo Alto I suspect it is not actually what most folks here thought it was / is and so are reading too much into what this means for VRS in the US......to me I think it is much more of a 'warm body' to more quickly respond to / visit / present VRS, on an ad hoc basis, than would otherwise be the case should someone have to fly out from the UK rather than anything distinctly proactive.

DGR, this BB, unlike the other place, seems to rely upon News to generate chat. The downside to that is that since the news flow late last year when posters do appear here you end up with mainly ramping or shorting chat (and curiously lots of insults / abuse) rather than any form of interesting discussion. fjetcrazy, that was my thought when I saw this news - hopefully very soon (given that the RNS did say launch would be Q4 2017 / Q1 2018). It would also be good if we could add a few other destinations in South Africa for the existing businesses too (eg CPT, DUR from Zimbabwe and JNB from Tanzania and Mozambique).

ISO standards are still in the early stages of development and so any formal accreditation for Nanene is probably quite some time away still.... https://www.iso.org/committee/381983/x/catalogue/ All that has been published so far is an agreed vocab covering what the language used to describe the various types of materials is, nothing has yet been finalised in terms of how to measure for these materials or display the results. IMHO we'd be very lucky to see any of these finalised before 2019 (and probably not this year) and so those hoping for some form of certification anytime soon will be in for a (very?) long wait....

Mushty, I used to think this was on the cards, however as I think Odey taking TSTR private is a more likely scenario, I no longer think a consolidation will happen.
