Hi Fred, sorry I should've mentioned IAI as well - again not an airline but I think this (and possible CT Engineering) is who you meant when you said airline?? As for your question I don't really do that much research into the wider AIM market, I tend only to focus upon companies I am interested / invested in, the only one that comes to mind (though I'm sure there may well be others) is IQE who are a big supplier to Apple. As has often been stated by NR, and folks on these boards VRS may well be unique in terms of their relationships with major Universities, Governments and the range of large (global) corporates that they have. The big challenge - and it isn't an insignificant one - is turning all (some) of these links / interest into cold hard cash, and doing it soon.

Fred, I must've missed an announcement which global airline are VRS working with?? I saw photos of Thai Airways folks meeting some people at Manchester Innovation Centre and know about the MoU with CT Engineering (an Airbus supplier) but not aware of any actual airline signing on the line. I also think it was a Fortune 100 company ;-)

As for our friend CrackUp I think he just makes stuff up as within 2 minutes he changed his prediction from �3 to �5 - I think he just likes posting to try and get a rise out of people rather than trying to have any form of meaningful debate. I'm happy to accept his �3, �5, �10 or even �30 predictions if he could make a rational, well thought out, fact based, logical justification to back them up, however we are still waiting.

Rafboy, I'm sure I saw / read in a Bromley press release / interview that they already supply sleds to something like 50% of the teams so the rush may not be as great as you think. Though, that said, in the same piece they were looking to expand into the high end consumer market with related products and so I guess this is where the opportunity (for them) really lies. It would also be good if they could help our Lugers and Bobsleigh teams with their technology and nouse!

Max, I know you are referring to me. Firstly I think VRS presence on UK Trade trips is fantastic as it demonstrates UK Government support and will be great for networking / contacts - I think Neill said the recent China trip yielded something like 400 alone - I don't trivialise these, but I was pointing out that upcoming trips to Israel and Hong Kong are for these reasons rather than for VRS specific tasks, and so folks shouldn't confuse the two. As for my comments / question about the funding for the trial, announced yesterday, these are perfectly valid - the trial is a fantastic thing (and not a first for VRS as they have been involved in ones for Dental Implants and Dementia, previously if I recall correctly) - from looking at the entities involved, and having worked in large NHS Teaching / Research Hospitals and with Academia I know they both don't have any money (they rely upon grant funding) and so I dug into the partners and found the following (basically they have no / very little money too).... - Stowhealth - a GP Practice based in Stowmarket that have links to University of East Anglia (UEA) and do get involved in some research activity through these links (http://stowhealth.com/) - from their latest published accounts (31st March 2017) they had Net Assets of �114,036 which was mainly Cash [�102,246] though as they employ 18+ staff I doubt much of this is 'free' - Digital & Future Technologies Ltd (sole Director and Secretary Dr Chris Crockford) in their latest published accounts (30th September 2016) they had Net Assets of (�6,733), �0 cash and made a loss (�6,735) - as I found another, similar entity that Dr Crockford and Dr Rudland had been involved in [this time with McLaren Applied Technologies] I also looked at them. This entity is called Cardiocity Ltd. - from their last published accounts (31st July 2016) Dr Crockford is again the sole Director and Secretary, they had Net Assets of (�164,043) with �841 in Cash and made a loss of (�251,643) So upon the basis of the above information I conclude that Digital & Future Technologies Ltd is indeed likely to be a 'one-man band' (regardless of Dr Crockford's impressive history) and that none of the partners - apart from Versarien - are likely to have any money to invest in such a project, and so I think it's perfectly valid to ask where is the money going to come from? Sorry if some research, facts and logic upset you.

OsakaKobe, the lack of news, uncertainty over future funding - which I think WILL be required before 30th June to pay off the loans, the lack of clarity as to how much is actually owed / outstanding (it could be as much as $6m ie the same amount that was owed BEFORE the recent OO) and how / where did Odey acquire their additional 10% of stock during the OO are all reasons to be nervous and probably affecting the SP. In fact I'm surprised it's holding up as well as it is.

Escovido, a couple of things from the Podcast.... - they are only at the planning stage of the trial and so we are probably at least 6, if not 12 months, away from it completing, and only after that will they get into looking at a commercial product (assuming the trial is successful) - the enabling Partner (Digital & Future Technologies Ltd) are only a very small company, probably a one man band, with a turnover of less than �250k (I've looked at them on Companies House before stating this) - the other trips Neill talked about are all UK Trade related trips and so folks shouldn't get too excited about / assume anything will happen with IAI on the one to Israel or the China JV on the one to Hong Kong

....not a 'proper' RNS in the sense used to announce the IAI or China news but rather a non-regulated marketing / communication message - see the London Stock Exchange definition of RNS-R type messages.... RNS Reach is an investor communication service aimed at assisting listed and unlisted companies to deliver non-regulatory news such as marketing messages, corporate and product information. It is based on the existing RNS UK-Regulatory service and has the same levels of efficiency, control and broad dissemination. So in one sense, like the similar RNS-R type message about the NGA Board appointment from a couple of weeks ago, this is almost a message for the sake of having a message as it's really just marketing / PR puff / spin (however positive) and that probably explains the muted SP reaction. I didn't know / realise this before today (that there are 'proper' and 'other' types of RNS), but always good to learn new things!

Lucky, if another 1 or 2 RNS arrive in the next few days I too may start believing in the myth!!! Like you I was expecting a Holdings RNS if we got anything.

Crackup, they'll be a long way off IMO, this is just (another - VRS have done a couple before) small scale research project, and some way off involving an OEM and developing a commercial product. Revenues from this RNS will be miniscule. Don't get me wrong, however, as this type of collaboration is great, though very different to those signed at the end of last year. The muted SP reaction says it all.

Fred, as you say a good sector to be involved in - and not the first small scale, non manufacturer, medical research project that the company has been involved in either - though this is not Nanene but the inks this time.
