yes PMC ... that 250mtv is (I would strongly suspect), inventory after costs, ie, all costs applied in last financial year. So aside from shipping costs .. seems to be a handy $10m cash pile .... on top of the 500mtv+ they appeared to have.

Yes, Inventory is necessary for smoothing and for the electrolyte production etc .. but it does seem to represent a costs applied cash pile that pretty much matches the Orion loan debt.

A challenging year in lots of ways, but FM was pretty candid about it all. The figures rather point to a very solid cash generative year where the Loan is either fully paid off or part paid off with extended terms... I see no drama at all

Remember .. every gram mined and refined can be sold several time over ... there is growing demand. With curtailment plans kicking in Vanchem should be pretty much back to capacity and Vametco is humming along very nicely.

The only really boring part is waiting for the spotlight to come round and realise it all ...

I agree there will be a premium, but it is very unclear what that will be. We don't for example' know the cost of making electrolyte, but it seems simple economics that in the low volume start the plant is set to take, it may well be loss making this coming year and only into real profit in 2024.

The stated ramp to 'full' production is a long period and the oft stated triple shifting to quadruple that is fanciful in anything other than a medium+ term

All depends on MN getting some real orders .. the time for delivery when a system is ordered is likely to be 6-9 months (or longer in bigger systems), so plenty of actual time - no point just making electrolyte for the sake of 'stock'

@huudi - clearly you have not the faintest knowledge of this ... it is normal business across many companies. To avoid directly paying tax due on (largely unrealised) options, companies regularly loan the money and it is recovered in future share options/bonus payments ... just normal business.

@roger65 ... BMN is making actual positive cash flow and profit .. IES is at least a year away from that.

The bounce is great for traders but remember they are a fair way from being cash neutral let alone generative. But the news flow is very welcome and shows a very bright future.

Meanwhile BMN keeps rolling cash in !
