you confuse the actual issue.... that is about market credibility. Twice now over 5 months this policy has not been delivered having been announced it would be. Workers bonus or payment arrangement have nothing to do with the market - just operational

well Querty, I agree on the first point, the Divi RNS will make no difference, but disagree on the JSE listing. As I have said before, I don't think until cold hard profits are rammed down lazy fund managers throats are they really going to take notice.

The expected RNS is about credibility .... having set a deadline of (basically) 3 months, then to extend it another 3 months and miss it rather suggests a credibility gap ... its only value right now is about credibility - when announcements are made, can the market have confidence in them ....

exactly Knuttie .. it does matter if the story is one of announcement, then delivery. SA is still a risky place to do business and whatever way you couch it, a BOD than keeps making promises and not delivering on them is hardly likely to attract investors.

On the other hand FM (et al) have got to have their hands very full just getting the expansion in place (but the expectation is one they created).

Certainly no need to go to the wire and just feel a bit miffed ... still .. 5.5 hrs left to release and meet the 2nd deadline

@Pdub ... it is not the lack of a policy, if nothing released today it is two firm commitments made in consecutive quarters not delivered

I FM is going to keep to his promise (slipped from Dec 18) of Divi details then we are guaranteed an RNS tomorrow .. at least one if he wants to tell us other stuff too.

not one positive upbeat RNS has led to market adoration - what did you expect ? The fund managers are a lazy bunch and until the annual report showing profits comes out, until; the div policy (or even a small div is paid), until the forward guidance of production and profit comes out, none of them will bother a jot - They are day/week traders... not investors

We can all see what is coming and the only game in town is 'guess the cash pile size'
