actually .. one positive of dual listing is that the SA requirement is SETS not SETsq ... so although not quite FTSE oversight is (I understand) a lot more tricky for the MM's to go stop-loss raiding etc

Why .. I am not at all sure the SP will rapidly appreciate just on JSE listing. I suspect the majority of shares listed will be pre-sold to 'friendlies' who can help long term strategic aims (with the grease being a decent return).

Is there any actual evidence dual listing in SA has a strong positive impact on share prices ?
