All he has done is said that anyone getting a response that they don't have a claim, they should forget it as no bank or whatever would risk telling porkies about this. imo loads of people who maybe didn't even buy a car have probably claimed on the off chance that the FCA will just accept all claims and have such payed out.

A takeover attempt is not that impossible to consider. CBG shares are going for a song compared with a couple of months ago. CBG ia cash rich and cash generator company, so a very rich business could perhaps not be too bothered about the FCA thing which is probably only going to be settled ages away. iT'S not my thing to know but a large company could just use things like a fine against their overall profits ? Seems to be non UK predator companies are eyeing up UK cos. as a target for gobbling up on the cheap.

Maybe - having done a bit more scribbling on the back of an envelope like the yappy BILLIONs Lewis bloke does, they might re-think a special small divi after all.

S Oxfordshire - South Bucks - my son drives a big lump of a forklift and large digger. Hardly any work around here. Lot's of sites around but very slow activity.

They do trade quite well as you say, not so hot today though. Did 337.2 and out at 345. Tax kills it a bit and you do have to chuck a fair bit of money at it. Nibbling down but I have an L of a way to go.
