Uncertain whether to wait it out or sell up, no trust in Majid etc., don't particularly want GTE shares, nightmare UK government versus just under 5k dosh. Took the dosh. But good luck for people holding, hope it works out for you all.

Similar position Treasures, between 8.7 and 9.5p on mine. Could have sold at last pre divi for the 12.5p or so but didn't as held for the 3 x divis each year. Don't know if to sell now and move on (but keep a watch in case this mega deal fails and price goes back into high 8s and 9s). Inclined to say no to it if am asked, i.e. if still holding them. I like owning some poo shares so might sell and bung proceeds into more BP and Shell as they are low price currently.

If your scenario is correct Bots, then the annoying (apparently) growth and prospects hype from Majid may have been more aimed at GTE rather than I3E shareholders? I suppose for all we know GTE were trying to offer signifcantly less for us and Majid has pushed them higher to where we are now. Who knows apart from Majid.

Trouble for me is that in recent times as we close on xdiv day I3E are generally sitting on around 12.5p anyway. So the GTE off is not much higher with the risk on their shares price thrown into the equation. And the future loss of I3E divi to an unknown possible GTE divi maybe.

I am a SEE shareholder and actually cfp am not at all miserable. Especially so when I read your posts for a bit of a chuckle.

Because as mentioned below, some of the offer relates to the GTE shareprice, and maybe exchange rates?

Seems like a complete reversal from Majid's recent comments about prospects, perhaps he needs the money for his road tax or something.

They have had other more tenuous approaches not needing notification and they are trying to push the matter along for something firmer from elsewhere. Harvest time and plenty of straws around to clutch!

So we are being offered a price only marginally higher than the probable 12.5 which normally happens on run up to x div day. And some ownership of a non-divi company to boot. Magic !

Do GTE pay a divi anyone know? and secondly if this goes thru would we expect GTE to become active on LSE?

Of course there is risk, oth last time up at pre divi I beleive you could get 12.something anyway, no reason for that to change if the deal failed.

I knew when asking would get such response, firstly I have quite a few of these and am holding what I have now. I was merely wondering who is doing the big multi 100k dumps. Thought it a fair question, but never mind.

If these as so great, are people dumping them at times in a big way?
