I have a 233p average so similar to you. Think I have too many of these actually, and agree although they go up for the divi they don't seem to get as high each time if you follow. So there is a creeping capital loss. Think I will also let quite a few go when/if the price let's me do so and resist buying back again on any drops. Does seem odd with the buy backs how it continues to decline.

I did say biggish and the million is quite a lot in relation to the much smaller buys. Seems with the obvious potential for SEE somewhat strange someone would be getting out so cheaply

Anyone got idea on who the biggish seller is, everytime we get a bit of a share increase it gets zapped by someone?

And typically will rise back end this month/early February for the next div. Hope so anyway.

The way the price moves around is good for trading and why not. I have done so half a dozen times recently. Have a core holding which I don't trade but also play the ups and downs for a few quid here and there with other money.

As Semaphor said, these (including HL) are platforms, holding percent is from probably 1000s of individual clients. HL have no voting or other control over these shares.

I picked up a few k yesterday as opinions around seemto indicate it's been oversold, also sort of see it as a one year bond with a great (huge) interest rate. Who knows what the next 3 or 6 or 12 months will bring so worth the punt.
