There again once/if it hits 475 or so then we will know one way or another re the SC presumably, meaning the price would belt on up from there presumably as the decision would be ok for CBG. Therefore much more upside.

They lost some business for a start and price whizzed down, you need to check and read their last rns

Monster div and it's xdiv day

It didn't drop the full divi % which was good news. Wonder if the shorter has taken the opportunity to b.gger off. Hope so

If your reply was aimed at me, I am stating what should be the obvious, that xdiv day it will drop around the div amount. Not speculating, it's how things work surely you know this?? Merely responding to your earlier which speculated that it would hold it's price. All depends on close and the shorters will want to keep it down where it is currently for obvious reasons. Might just add I would love to see it close in the mid/high 220s

If it closes today at say 210 then it will open tomorrow xdiv presumably at around high 180s.

It should drop by the divi amount xdiv day, that is normal. Would think ideal for the shorter depending if it stays around the same price as it is currently. If they can force it down all the better for them. A big jump into xdiv tomorrow will no be so good for them obviously.

Close are being shorted badly. Although now pulled back quite a bit from the low (so far)

Seem ok to me when I have traded them from time to time - quite fluid. You just don't know for sure until the time comes of course.

We are all doomed since they have dropped it so much. Actually I would love it if my various holdings went anywhere near the broker reccs we get from time to time.

This is just nearly all autobot moving the price around i.e. the shorter. Same sort of thing going on at CBG. Would imagine/hope price will move up nicely to the day before the xdiv on 20th

If you are the poor soul trying to get yourself out of a mess shorting this stock. Work the poor little autobot mad driving the price down only for some from the awkward brigade coming along and buying. We should all feel sorry for them, shouldn't we?

Any ideas on how much CB has spent on all this so far? must be a considerable amount with all the complain (office) handling, lawyers, appeal costs and so on.

There are other factors which can affect this current share price before SC decision is known which is probably some months away unless they are pushed to announce quickly, not least anything Donald does particularly concerning EU and perhaps UK tariffs. If he bangs considerable tariffs on then sentiment will drive everything down (as like the other day).

The shorter is still here - remember a few days ago the price hit 332 but they auto'd it back to the 30s- I got 3000 of them to trade at 306p (lucky).

Then you have whatever the bank clerk does next - heaven help us all!.

Finally U.K. economy in an ever increasing mess and FTSE etc. on all time highs.

I want it back to the 6s and 7s and fat divis again like everybody else for my permanent holding but currently would not buy at 325 upwards for trading. Just an opinion.

Think this will just continue each week until the shorts get themselves out of what currently looks like a monster loss for them. Therefore it continues to be great for trading if you keep your eyes open. imo
