The movement on price is all about the shorters, just look at the trades going thru on autobot. Probably pretty desperate to keep the price down as the drip feeds from that nice divi are due to start soon. Creates a buying opportunity if you want more at a silly price

Re Millibandit, read elsewhere today on the subject of starmer being dumped, that one of the main frontrunners to take over would be milliband. Heaven help us if that became true.

Not so sure that the IMF won't come visiting possibly even this year. The U.K. finances are an utter mess. Lot's of info/comments around now about stagflation and so on. Half of my sipp is always in cash and has been for some months (sipp is only 250k) in case things go bad and opportunities arise. Meanwhile having good results from trading courtesy of the shorters the (imo undervalued) CBG, like first thing this morning's big rise for 20 minutes or so

The bank clerk and city yobs whining on about folk going into share isa instead of cash isa, well anyone doing this recently and likely going into the likes of high divi payers like NWG and LLOY etc are seeing quite a drop. It's why my wife and I keep ISA as cash.

NorrisCole, look at the trades going thru, it's simply the shorters being very aggressive. Nothing to worry about imo and always offers a trading opportunity too.

If you look at the trades, it is all about the shorters working it up and down. Maybe see 228s and then they will push it back down again. Gives an opportunity to trade the shares a little if you get it right.

FCA are - like all these quangos - a joke, and expensive one at that.
