Well I had previously decided to not buy any more unless 20s re-appeared but did get at 233 hoping my little 1.5k might just help in peeing them off a bit.

Heard the milliband thingy on radio 4 this morning, they really took him apart, made him even more stupid than he probably is which takes some doing.

Like to explain what is going on. In that there are loads of auto sells obviously to drive the price down, but then loads of equally small auto buys. Are the shorters using these buys to then sell them off again in bulk to re drop the price even more - such small buys means they are not really costing them much loss.

Similar SG, took 1.5k more 233p.

The auto bots are wetting themselves but it's strange as there are low value series running thru but then followed by more auto low level buys. Anyone know what is going on? I know little about shorting as have never indulged in this type of trading.

I think it's just a trading share at the moment, and has been for some months. The movement regularly allows a buy at hopefully around a current low and inevitably the share pops up maybe 10 to 15p so out you go. Nice profit albeit not 1000s of pounds but do it often enough and it does become 1000s over the weeks and months. My 1.5k yesterday is typical, got them for just over 207 and let them go this morning at 217 and a bit. Just overnight 100 or so quid. Hopefully they will pop down again to the 20x and can do it all over again. Gamble is it suddenly explodes up but I have a core holding which I don't trade. The shorters were not interested in getting out at the 207s so presumably will work to get it below that to where they want it.

Often as not a big drop is done to try and pick up stop losses is it not? Way of getting cheaper shares etc. if a big buy order is being filled
