I agree its under valued, but why did it drop to £0.90 on the last set of numbers like this (pre covid) EPS £0.15 = £52m.
It will put the PE ratio to 7.7 which is very low and SP should be £1.50+......... I will top up if it dips nearer to £1.
But I will investigate the Jan 20 results when I get time to

Last time card had results like this was announced Jan 2020 and that is when the SP fell from c.£1.70 to c.£0.90 ??????
After this was also the Covid drop down to c.£0.30.
Why did Card fall so much on the Jan 20 'Good' results anybody remember.
I think this is great news but trying to see why we wouldn't jump back up to £1.70'ish/share.

Argo Labs is all very vague from what I can find.
I would like to see more detail on what they are doing there. Scale of investment (I hope its small), projects invested into, investment dates etc.... I believe that gaming and Web3 have a good opportunity to drive substantial adoption in blockchain adoption but are they making 'good' investment choices, and not risking a cash burn that impacts the mining operations working capital.

So a 4% increase on the split per below values.
Hopefully DWL gets purchased soon.

Yes they need to focus on cash, but overall an 'okay' update and taking more control/ownership of the global business.
I was hoping for a bigger impact from the 'China reopen'. The statement made keeps their cards close to their chest.

I now have a small holding here and will buy more on any small dips.
Looking forward to them performing well over the next couple of years, there is also a small chance that they are taken over at some point.

Topped up, planning to exit the top up £ at 100'ish and keep 25% of the shares to Hodl.

I believe other competitors to CARD would close their doors before CARD do, and even though they may come under stress, they will be the longer term winner.
I am looking for 80 to top up, but the chart gap has already been filled so it may not make it that low.

Given the tough times ahead, there could be retailers that exit online altogether. Even Tesco (with 40-50%) are showing that this area is not profitable and if that continues they would likely look to minimise exposure.
This could benefit Ocado as it could keep the CFC's full, but I still see M&S exiting Ocado via a sale of the business over the next 2 or 3 years.

They are trying to drive sales again with the Tesco price match push, they need to adapt on price as they are expensive even for the great service and products.
I still think if recession hits people will move back to bricks and mortar.
I am still invested for the long run and if we drop below £380 I will likely top up (if the timing is right).

Share Price down to 30.4 cheaper to purchase shares on the open market than via the open offer, even with fees.

Ocado probably need to fully split their business to gain separate capital for the Tech business (which could be tough in the current environment).

IMO M&S do not have deep enough pockets to hold onto the Ocado business during a market downturn and it would likely to be purchased by an existing food retailer that wants to grow share and drive online. Amazon would still be the front runner for this as they are the only ones with enough capital and would not have issues with the competition commission.

If we we hit a recession and unemployment rises then the Ocado valuation will decrease.
(Note: I believe M&S bricks and mortar will be strong as seen in previous recessions, but online will struggle and put pressure on them overall)

I originally invested in 2011 when this was called Camco. they were doing a biomas installation that I was aware of so I decided to dip my toe.
I still think this space will come good and I hope IES are part of the winners.
Believe in the long run here.

Especially in the current market I like to take out my investment asap and let the profits run 'for free'.
..... but just looked back to 2013 when I brought 20k shares at 8p, I should have just brought and held with this one as I don't have that many shares here now.

I can see the private investor placing via ii yet hopefully it does come.

I have never noticed that, how strange.

I will apply for substantially more than the 2 issued for 19 held, I was holding out for 29p but 32p via the placing will be good enough and create a strong SP floor.

If they are planning the cash raise correctly then this should take them to a position where the SP would be higher ready for any subsequent raise required. e.g. if they need £50m over 5 years then raise £16m now at 32p and then raise the rest in 2/3 years when the share price is c.60-70p.

Good to see Poppy purchased £108k worth of shares last week at 225.
