PE ratio I work out is around 37 (quite high) (160p share price / EPS 4.3p). Other P/E's calcs quoted online look lower so I could be wrong here (I am an amateur when calculating this stuff, but practicing).
On a 10% growth rate that makes the PEG ratio 3.7 (again quite high)
But the profit delivery is growing faster than revenues and the dividend doesn't look at risk, so that is helpful.

Good strategy to flip and gain more shares @Roofer61. I'll hold until the chart gap is filled at just above 180p.

On the back of the dovish Fed yesterday and the strong buys on Dark, the shorts must close soon (hopefully hitting stop losses).
Interestingly NCC dropped today, another player in UK Cyber that is struggling for a strong valuation.
If the Dollar gets stronger again both of these companies could be targets for larger US players IMO.

I'll just keep holding as this is a space for the long term future.

Can't see any real structural long term red flags.
I'll run some PE and PEG ratios later.

Its only 3% inflation to total shares, this is usual with early stage growth businesses that need to reward key staff with ownership to tie them in.

This morning:
Stifel cuts Darktrace to 'hold' (buy) - price target 250 (520) pence

We would all still take 250 for now, feel they are being harsh, PE And PEG would be great at this price especially for a cash generating business.

Many of the short reports are like this at the moment, very poor content.
Have a look at how the Saputo short attack turned out....... spoiler SP up and strong.

Dark have reacted well by deploying their cash at this level.

They are in a closed period so can't buy yet

Growth stocks are reacting poorly to any news of shorts and these companies know this.
There are many many examples globally where shorters are targeting companies for a quick win.
I believe Dark has been targeted by a small professional short with thinly laid out arguments to create smoke. FUD

I will buy the dip but am also aware of the risk if the short report turns out to be accurate

I am trying to work out the PE and PEG ratio for Dark at the current share price, can somebody check my numbers?
I think this is a strong buy if I have my numbers right using the H1 23 statement.

H1 23 Revenue $556m
EBITDA % 15% = $83m
Shares in Issue 718m
Company earnings per share = $0.12 / $2.52 = 22 PE Ratio (This is strong at a £2.10 = $2.52 share price)

Growth 36% so the PEG ratio is 0.6 (<1 is an attractive PEG)

If confirmed this should help people stay positive

UBS raises Card Factory price target to 86 (65) pence - 'neutral'

The charts say that we would gap close down to about 86p then see support around 80p so I would wait for that to top up personally.

This will be profit taking, I was tempted last week but just continued to HODL for now.

I have been here for a while with my first entry at a higher share price level.
2.70p was always my average down target and I did top up.
When the pump came I tried to get as close to 2.70p again (on the way up), but 3p is close enough in a tiny share like this.

I believe in the space generally and I think there are many players who would like a transactions company like this if they can increase users and transactions. I only have a small amount invested so I wish them good luck, but I am also well aware they could go under at any point too.

This is high risk, I am looking to exit my investment stake and just run with any profit money asap, hopefully in this Jan bounce.
I agree if it can make it out of the bear market to 2025 it will go crazy, even if just on space momentum.

The future looks bright for IES. IMO

This is great news for GW, shareholders and fans. But I think Amazon may be making a mistake investing in production without buying/controlling GW, as a public company another player could take control of GW before any subsequent future contracts are signed.

The $10m is about 1/6 of the market cap so the drop is fully priced in at c.50 share price in my opinion
I agree this will make it tougher for the share price to head north until fully converted.
IMO It would likely have been cheaper to come to shareholders as could have been fully raised at 40-50 with a one off conversion and no grey cloud for new investors.

The weakness in the share price today appears overdone.
The real household income drop is still ahead and therefore another wave of trade down to hard discounters is still to come.
I also like the strong cash generation and low leverage seen in B&M.
