Hopefully your portfolio looks a little healthier now @CrystalBallBroke? How are people feeling about this share, on the 1st Jan it was 430. Do people think it will be higher, lower or just flat for the year?
A sale would not need to be £200m to work for PFD as its likely that the pension contributions would also be packaged in for the Ambrosia employees so the figure of +£100m could work positively for the PFD share price.
The more likely scenario is that Ambrosia will not have enough interested parties to sell...... where could the brand move towards to make it more modern? this is the issue that all buyers will have looking at the division.
