At the start of this pandemic there was a prime opportunity to move people to their online platform with a one off investment into TV. TV advetising is currently cheap and has a much higher penetration as everybody was is (or was) at home. Their adverts could easily have taken on the same feel as the previous Aldi adverts e.g. I like this card from Moon Pig £7 posted but I also like this card from Card Factory £3.50 posted.
