I have sent a message to Andrea with a suggestion that it would be good PR to give us some progress pics from B.Robitcs assembly yard.--I haven't had a reply yet which is unusual. I usually get same day or 48 hour response so it is either not a good idea, or he is on his way to Italy, or is currently on holiday, or...who knows. Time is however passing and each day we a re closer to at least some action. New bloke arrives in Sept therefore rig is obviously not anticipated until around that time I s'pose. Lets hope that it pays for itself so to speak. ATB s7

N. It has been fairly clear for some time that the illusive permit was never going to arrive and that the end goal was to bankrupt AST. I had thought that it was just a matter of someone protecting the income stream to Russia but it now looks like it was as you say, a plan to bankrupt, disrupt and make it impossible for AST to continue and thus take over their assets and licences at no cost. I came out of this 18 months ago when I realise that Slovenia Gas was being supplied by Russia they were not likely to give it up without a fight.

Coffee---perfs could be that the optimum regions were perforated based upon log data. Perf design, direction, magnitude spacing etc will be based on what they believe will give the best results. Initial rns did mention potential oil bearing zones so it could be that further interrogation of data has reduced the 'potential'. or they could have just spent the explosion money on a nice steak and kidney--one never knows the full reasons for decisions made or otherwise by casp.

S7, seen it before but thanks for posting it again. There are by the looks of it, quite a few areas where alignment and verticality set up are paramount. The limit sensors need to bang on and the twin derrick set up with what looks like a guide rail for the travelling block needs to be square and vertical. Imagine 1 degree error at surface how far off target it would be at 4500m depth lol. gawd blimey mate, we could be running a sidetrack without knowing it. Looks good with computer animation though so lets hope that it is demonstrated in the field.

So, we are about half way then ;) Expecting end of September for anything interesting tbh and 6 months after that for the Z wells to be completed and we have a go at MOC 01 unless we get 2 or 3 rigs running concurrently. 80t, 100t, 260t and 500t should all be in the field by the end of the year, therefore the new guy can try the old engineering trick of ''if it won't budge, get a bigger hammer''. A visit to B Robotics by a seasoned traveller with available funds and time on their hands would be good (any volunteers?) Some twitter photos from Zen of the rig being assembled might be a second best, but would at least confirm that there are a collection of parts in the process of being assembled into something that looks vaguely like a drilling rig. 4 Weeks until end of the month therefore it should be taking shape by now.

I think that in reality you know the answer to that question. If the sales volume remains unchanged, the cost of extraction remains unchanged then there will be no effect unless the pound/dollar rate changes.
If the purchasing power of the customer equates to lower sales then the mcap will be affected by reduced income.
If HMI reduce the local price to take the currency devaluation into account so as to build market penetration and increase their turnover 4 fold then the mcap is likely to be 2-3 times where it is today.
As there is little historic data then it is impossible to make comparisons y.o.y as a result of currency implications.
Pointless question really isn't it, as there is no real answer at this early stage of development.

6month company report may provide part of the answer 12m annual will provide a bit more and in 5 years time to power of hindsight and retrospective evaluation of the currency affect will give you the answer as to how it has impacted the sp.

Well, news on the first 'test' should be within the next two weeks. Test was expected to be 2-3 weeks duration from around the 11th of the month.

Dont forget that pressure doesnt necessarily equate to flow, but if we have a good surface pressure it is very good news. How quickly the pressure recovers after being let off is hugely important and is a more important factor affecting flow.
Last we heard was that pressure recovery times had improved between the times that pressure was let off and the next time, i.e, the quicker it became necessary to let off pressure, the better for us. At the moment, there is no news about whether they are still letting it off or just keeping it shut in and contained within the surface valve system and tubing. At a guess, there is no need, therefore the pressure has not exceeded what they consider to be safe?

Once the production tube emptied itself from 4000m there was probably nothing else left in there. We never saw the valves being shut in at the well did we so maybe it just fizzied out. Something to think about eh. Next time Mudstud is having a drive-by, maybe he could go and twiddle some valves to see if anything comes out

Well done with the RD. I just wish I had bought that prillia 250, it was quite expensive but at least I would still have it. I should have sold a few Zen at the time and just bought it.
