Ok all. I have found a press release saying that socar have drilled a new well to 3987 metres and it is producing 22tons/day. Article is date 10.10.2008. The article doesnt mention the well number but themtiming and depth appear to indicate C-22

P.s 22tonnes is about 150 bbls a day, maybe a bit more, call it 160. Rough calculation.

An increase of that nature would add 50% to current prod and give a good platform from which to launch into the Zardab challenge.

They appear to have drilled C-37 in 2008, a year before they were formed in 2009. Maybe it was azneft

Some time ago there was a document or map showing well positions and another document that gave details about previous well performance data. Has anyone still got it and are there any pointers as to the potential of C-37 from anything that has been printed about C-22. Even though some of the old data is unreliable, it would be helpful to know what C-22 allegedly managed to flow and for how long. I have done the google thing and havent found anything.

Well, I am least happy to see some movement. Not sure that I have much faith in the new recruit based on his recent career history. Depending upon the available data and what the best/worst outcome predictions are of C37, if we get a low cost value accretive result then it will proven to be a prudent choice. Our production must be dwindling and it needs an early boost just to stand still. Z- 21 is going to be a long haul by the looks.

I wish I had the same predicament. I would need more like 20k to bring my average to 7.

Well, I have to sat that I have always had a reply directly from Andrea. The reply has usually been within a day or two, and once within about an hour. Messages are usually fairly short but he has written the best part of a page. It may sound like I am always pestering, but in reality there have been about 5 or 6 messages over the past year. It is at least courteous and comforting to know that hentakes the time to respond and it is clear that he is equally dissappointed about the outcome to date and that we can only learn from that and look forward to the future.
34p? Well, a year ago my ' hope' was to get somewhere near to 20p. With the share dilution and current dire valuation, 20p looks unlikely in the near/medium unless there is an outstanding result over the next few months. Double figures would be great.

180 rig will turn up before the 260 and will get stuck in to z28.
260 will get into Z21 and drill deeper. Both will see us into the cranberry sauce and xmas pud-as I said months ago-

I have though of another positive..... Due to location, we should not be too hampered by the weather once we get going again!!. unlike some Co's that are working in minus 30 poor sods.

Mud. I read into the last rns where it mentions that the not yet leased 180 would be delivered towards the end of Oct and will be operating concurrently with the 260 as being.. 'the 260 isn't going to be here until October'. If it is on site and complete before then I shall be surprised.
Also, would not be at all surprised if our drilling manager has changed his mind or taken another opportunity elsewhere unless the day rate he has been offered is one that just cannot be refused. From our point of view, a small retainer and a big bonus at 1000bbls would be a favourable deal. wishful thinking I s'pose..

Have a look at how many vehicles are needed. I made the mistake of mis calculating the number and then posted on here. Smaller vehicles are of course better in terms of road conditions and maximum weight restrictions.
Bits and pieces of equipment should be arriving about now---they have probably only got 5 trucks and 10 drivers available, therefore they will need to do the journey about 15-20 times !!. hey, only joking but one never knows. They will probably deliver as and when equipment becomes available as opposed to en-masse I guess and then assemble and test it on site, the complete delivery period could be quite some time. I wouldn't expect it to be drilling straight away and folk should bear it in mind. but yes, stuff should be arriving any time soon and every day is a day closer to taking the lid off the well.

I wonder what the plan is for the 500 from b robotics and the remodelled A100 that is now a 120? And the poor old a80'that was refurbished. Are we now only concerned with the 260 and the yet to be hired 180.

The aborigines are not clearing the site, they are surveying it to make sure that the drill program does not cause any damage to any aborigine artefacts, burial grounds or owt else they feel is valuable. The word clearance is clearance to start the drill program. Over n out.

AJ, he is not the COO. I believe he was referred to as an operations manager. His background shows him coming up through the tools which providing he can make the jump from being paid from the neck down to being paid from the neck up it is a good thing. Hopefully he has made the transition..if he is still joining the company of course....until there is something for home to do, it is better to keep him off the payroll though don't you think.

Aye Capn, Highly unlikely that it will arrive in the next few days. Beginning Oct if we are lucky, but just my view based on the photographs and the 'no news' telling us that it has been completed. May surprise us, but we are dealing with Italy and not China. Christmas for Z21. Said it before, not de-ramping just realistic. Commissioning, getting all equipment to site, accommodation, mud, bop, training staff, testing on site, taking it easy because nobody knows how to work the thing properly, teething problems, a few bottles of wine from Andreas' vineyard to while away the time etc etc. Anyone expecting results in a few weeks will be very fortunate and I will again eat my Oreos if we see oil coming out anytime in October.
