The benchmark is just a reference point. That’s it. Utterly irrelevant other than that. The important number is the VWAP each month which determines the payment Lanstead make.

Of course they have opened themselves up to a loss. Any investor or lender does in any transaction. Nothing is risk-free. The default risk will be factored in to their calculations. And Duffers might have convinced then that something was in the pipeline. After all he has convinced you and many others.

If Lanstead get cold feet after let’s say 6 months languishing these levels and no progress by NNN then they are effectively long 134m shs at around 0.27 and 27.45m shs for free. So they would long 161,200,000 @ approx 0.225p

I have no doubts that Lanstead are responsible investors. Hence their terms. They buy roughly a million shs a day at at a 25% discount to VWAP every trading day for 2 years. Plus they get 27.45 mm shs for absolutely no cost!!Plus they don’t pay up front so if NNN go under Lanstead only lose what they have put in up to that point. It’s genius!!

If the there was any positive news whatsoever due in the near-term then Duffers should be shot for accepting the type of finance deal that he did. Of course the truth is that was the best (maybe the only) finance option available at the time and there is no new news whatsoever in the pipeline.
I find it amazing that one of the highlights of the past 6 months is that management continue to buy stock!! Duffers has put in just £20k of his own money and continues to paid £16.5k per month!!!!

Still at least Duffers continues to get his £16.5 k/ month salary for a bit longer, until it runs out. I better get that Doomsday Clock dusted off!

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a crumb of comfort in those shambolic results!

Well I think it’s just altogether more exotic to lose money overseas! There’s a lot of us feeling bruised right now.
S&P 500 has lost $7 trillion, yes trillion, so far in 2022!

Get long some China names…. they have been battered as an asset class

Haha.!! You remembered! It absolutely has to end and will happen. We all need to see a return to GDP growth in China of 5%+.Personally I don’t think we will ever see a return to lockdown anywhere as economies simply cannot afford to do so.
Living with Covid? Absolutely.
Good for NNN? Almost certainly not!
