I think Ganfeng will end up with 49.9% and LitioMx / Ford / GM / Tesla end up with the rest and that it includes our 30% being sold as part of that. Ganfeng have already said they are open to this. Market is blind IMO. Why do you think they want to scale it up....

The thing is @Jimb2 nothing to stop us selling (all or part) to a US consortium, remember Ganfeng were already looking for strategic investment and that Tesla GM and Ford have met with Oberador as part of Plan Sonora.

The HAS transaction was not complete by 30th June so values would not be on the balance sheet until the transaction closed.
On the second point this was an all share transaction as the ASX rules did not allow for the cash transaction.

In July 2022, Cadence sold its 31.5% stake in Lithium Technologies and Lithium Supplies ("LT & LS") to Evergreen Lithium Pty Ltd ("Evergreen"). This was for an initial consideration of AS$3.16 million (£1.81 million)in Evergreen shares, with a further AS$6.63 million (£3.80 million) due in Evergreen equity on the achievement of certain performance milestones Evergreen is progressing with its listing on the Australian Stock Exchange. We’re not even valued at the cost basis of $9m for 30% let alone the $33m or the potential, the market doesn’t appreciate what KDNC is currently. Sonora needs to have a conclusion at some stage which may help.

Which is what I’m saying, to reduce that discount (which is almost 100%) it would be better to have a market value.

You won’t see it on the books for another 9 months which goes some way to proving what i’m saying. That is that having a real time market value is far better than book value.

Total = £ 15m = 9p per share, possibly more when Evergreen lists plus 30% of Amapa ($33m valuation based on latest $3.3m for 3% investment) + Sonora.
Again if Amapa was listed the value is more easy to see and the discount to NAV should reduce and therefore SP increase.

@Olderandwiser because it gives a concrete value to the holding so you can get to an NPV easier. So forms a support for the valuation. It will be even clearer that Amapa and Sonora are not priced in and therefore hopefully give our SP a boost.

The 30 day VWAP seems to have gone in our favour at least.

"We have prepared (investments) for 2023 from South Korea, China and a program agreed with the United States to start producing batteries in Mexico," Ebrard said in a rapprochement with the media after a meeting of entrepreneurs of the Pacific Alliance.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SER) of Mexico said he could not specify the amounts of the investments as they are information from private companies.

However, he announced that the battery manufacturing industry in Mexico is expected to start in the third or fourth quarter of 2023.

Seems like they are more open to foreign investment than previously stated. Fingers crossed we get some good news from Ganfeng soon.
