Suzy. I’m just posting to say that this was in the 25 January RNS:

“The main purpose of the Rights Issue will be to finance the continued development of Kallak North, as well as to progress at pace the preparation of the environmental permit application for Kallak North. The Rights Issue will also repay bridge loan financing and with sufficient funding available, possible resource drilling for Kallak South, and capital for Grafintec and Vardar's development and exploration programmes.”

It states “at pace” which means quickly. Not “at a pace”, which means to move along.

I appreciate your thoughts. I’m as p’ed off as any shareholder with this year’s performance so far. We need a good finish to Q2, for sure. Kurt has gone so I’m trying to look ahead now, not focus on the things that occurred while he was still here.

Sooz, thanks. I’m sure it wasn’t a case of they forgot about incurring the penalty by such a date, I would suggest they tried their absolute hardest not to. We know how difficult it was to raise the funding this time, from the discount given, but I won’t be going back in time to discuss how it could have been better handled perhaps, so we must move on, but notable for me in today’s RNS was the chart with the land area licences. That hasn’t been on show for a good while in an RNS, if I’m right. The combined size of the areas for which we have those licences is very expansive. We only have the concession on a small, so in terms of future potential it is whopping.

Just an observation. Not sure if it’s a straw clutch, but wheeling the chart out is rare.

Ok, so what do you suggest we do then Pocko, all sell up because of how rubbish you keep telling us it is? We don’t know what was involved in BEM not being able to secure the funding just in time to avoid the loan repayment penalty, but it’s happened and we have to move on. It was months ago now and we still have a few £million in the bank. That’s the position.

That’s extremely poor and completely underhand if true. Not great for those investors. Even if it isn’t true, the damage to their sp is now being done.

Hasty, I agree regarding the accountability and lack of transparency, especially over Kosovo. I don’t feel Kurt did anything untoward, but we’ll never know why he left sharply, with supposedly such a great future ahead for us, starting with all the work this year.

Watch this space perhaps. Maybe the next news could give us a clearer picture.

Re Kurt’s Options and severance, yes he will surely keep his Options, but we don’t know what the story is with any continuing wage payments for a period, because he left without giving much, if any, notice and we don’t know why.

And there we have the frustration again of being in the dark. It has been disappointing, yes, but hoping for better. Unless there’s another change in plan, we should be receiving news from Finland before long. A nice PFS will help.

Been nearly a month now since Budgie flew, lol, so hoping we are narrowing down the candidates carefully for our next stage. The uplift!

Yes, the second half of this year must be better Sooz. It has to be. I’d be happier if we were offloading the Kosovo project though. Harder to monitor, in my view. They had a sizeable chunk of money off us in January, so I hope they are making that stretch, bearing in mind they haven’t drilled yet. I’d quite like news on that one, because we’ve had Rasmus comment re Grafintec and Ulla comment re Jokkmokk Iron, but only Kurt ever commenting on Vardar. From memory. It would be better if we also heard from the Vardar team.

Just an idea. It may only be me, but I’ve found it very difficult to be enthusiastic about that particular project so far.

Anyway, I think I kind am accepting of the dreadful sp at the moment, because it is more likely to improve than not, all things considered, as we embark into June.

Pockles, I agree. Today’s RNS was fairly standard, mediocre.

But it gives you time to prepare your golden larynx of doom for the Finland PFS!
