Roller, Kurt’s hard work on submission of the HIA and additional hoop-jumping contributed towards ensuring we were granted the mining concession. What has occurred since for shareholders has been thoroughly unpleasant because yes, it seems he wasn’t prepared beyond that stage. The venture into Kosovo remains an expensive mistake, on the face of it. Different matter had we been up and running at Kallak and generating revenue. He’s no doubt made some crucial decisions that have been risky, but not with our main asset, where he’s ensured a good outcome for us.
We now need someone to get hold of this by the scruff of the neck and take us to where we should be, reflecting the quality and quantity of Kal. Which, lest we forget, remains a designated Area of National Interest.
I’m as p’ed as anyone with this investment, just to be clear. The way it’s been handled post-concession and the definitive news void, lack of more specific plans, has been rubbish.
And so we wait for better.
