RE: Bem9 Dec 2021 09:56
Lewis, your friend was right, it was a good idea. Nobody could have foreseen how long this would have taken to secure a simple permit. As for valuation, a chunk of Kallak is still JORC unproven, high potential, but what we already have that is mineable is world class, both the size and grade of the deposit, and the quality will demand a premium fee, or should do. I suppose it depends on what occurs following the granting of the concession, whether we will have a partnership to work on production at Kal, or if BEM sells the whole project on, for whatever price. It's impossible I feel, that a valuation can be given, considering more drilling and proving up of different areas of the deposit is yet to come.
It's worth what someone will pay for it, and if your shares are held here on AIM, we now have a tighter market here, illiquid, because the Swedes own over 70% of BEM, traded on their market. We are dual-listed, as I'm sure you know. If we sell here, it seems the shares are being transferred over there. The fewer we have to trade here, the sp may well catapult on stunning news. Either way of course.
Best perhaps to wait and see how you feel re exit point, depending on what your average is. I'm close to mine, but still can't get excited as I have yet to break even.
All the best.
