You are only thinking about the other assets in BEM's portfolio, nothing wrong with that SJ. The Vardar news has been limited, not sure if there are issues with licences, can't remember, but Kurt seems enthusiastic about the target sites, so we may get a pleasant surprise one day with it. Finland seems to me the more immediate of the two projects. The recent news there was a real bonus, while we wait on Kal. No timescale for all projects, but when we receive the concession, I'm thinking we'll look most attractive for being gobbled up.

Pog, thanks for sharing. I picked up on the "....chooses to say yes...." because surely it must say yes, if, as has been established, there are no relevant grounds to say no, our application legally proven to merit the award.

True. I'm in profit, but it still seems like an electronic figure. Lol. Kurt must have an immediate plan to coincide with a yes decision. Hopefully get a rerate, certainly opens a lot of doors. Hope and trust. x

Sooz, it was an age ago that the MI said that, yes. I think the Sami has fought well and the Ministers have had no backbone. Mr B was probably just way out of his depth, a nice guy perhaps, armed with only a single pork chop in a pit of lions.

Sooz, yep, you and I can do two months again, and SJ too. He definitely deserves another couple of months. Lol.

Doug, fair enough. No, of course we can't be 100% certain that the two Ks still haven't spoken, but we going off what we know so far only. What else can we do Doug? Many of us have been and are still optimistic about what we hope and trust will be happening behind the scenes, but we are soon approaching nine years of wondering, hoping and trusting. We must pray that K-P breaks the mould.

Thanks Flip. I'm rooting for K-P to change my view of things here, because we've had too much to deal with as investors really. I'm determined to see this get beyond the decision and looking forward to Kurt's plan, but even now we are waiting again for politics to play out, whereas it should have been a decision based only on whether our application was good enough to satisfy the criteria set by the Government for the award. Now, what has been so difficult about that? Lol.

The MI being satisfied that our application was sufficient all those years ago should have been enough. The system set-up has been cobblers from the beginning. The MI, in my view, should have the final say without the need to ever refer back to the Government. Imo. I'm glad that the CAB is being shaken and stirred. Lol.

You are right Chops, but they are resourceful, so surely they'll find something else to try and prevent this decision from coming. We legally meriting the award has always fallen by the wayside.

John, if you go back to last Wednesday, about page 8 on here, PAYJJ posted Kurt's Kuriren interview, which included Kurt saying he hadn't spoken with K-P T. Now John, while I took it to be a recent interview, I can't immediately see a date for it on the link. Kurt may well have spoken with Special K since, but as far as our info goes, there is nothing further to tell us that he has. But I know less than nothing! There may be confirmation of verbal contact between the two Ks lurking in the undergrowth.

Maybe we'll be surprised by K-P, in a good way. He might even offer us compensation to go along with his apology for the Government making us wait for almost nine years. What a sweet man. Lol.

Lb, well he's making all the right comments for us, but, as far as we know, Kurt hasn't yet spoken with K-P. Considering how long the Government has been piddling about with our application, I personally feel it's poor of K-P to have not spoken with Kurt right away, or very soon after taking over from Mr Baylan. Considering K-P has inherited a problem application, the KU report findings to surely consider. Anyway, as I said, we can only deal with what actually occurs, not what we feel is right and proper, that should occur. In our view anyway. Lol.

Because there isn't still a date set, my concern is that the Sami folks use it to try and drag this out indefinitely. I guess we'll find how serious K-P is about living up to both his job title and his vocal appreciation of mines. We should soon know Sooz.

Sooz, hi. I think you are right, we must not place K-P T in the same category of hopelessness as Mr Baylan. I'll give K-P a chance, although when he set the date for the Sami comments to be in, my feeling he could have also set a date for the decision. K-P is also already aware of the Sami stance on Kal, as is he familiar with BEM's application, so, in my opinion, he could and should have engaged with Kurt. To be fair to all. In my humble. x

Yes, might seem logical to you and I, engaging equally with BEM to show respect to all parties involved, not to mention fairness, considering we've been waiting nearly nine years, but we must only deal with what is actually happening and shoulder it, rather than focus on what we'd like to happen.

I hope you are right Aug. For us to lose over 20% of our market value at one point, in a single day, because of a potentially misinterpreted radio interview with the Minister for Business, Industry and Innovation, is absolutely unacceptable. In my opinion. I'm not sure why either, that K-P T can't announce an official date for the decision, via Government channels, ensuring both clarity and fairness for not only us, but all interested parties. That way also going some way towards preventing a random leak at any time. We could then be ready for a leak, knowing that it should be around if not on that official decision date. Lol. Anyway, today just gone, more damage and unnecessary roughness for BEM to endure. Not bleddy on! IMO.
