That is very much my read on it. Management knows what they are doing - and they know who they are doing it with. They don’t need to advertise to the general public - they already have the NHS on board and early approvals in their sights. Neither do they need to attract interest from other pharma when they already hav3 a small queue of interested parties who are likely to want to do deals of various types. What they have yet to decide, though, is which deal type will benefit shareholders the most……

……and I wonder whether that might depend on the outcomes of the Modi-1 trial and the plans for Modi-2 …….and/or the potential for doing deals on the Glymab platform?

We should find out for sure in the next six months - and see a major rerating and a very clear plan on the way forward.

Cohort 4 isn’t going to move the dial on the results. They have already enrolled 30 patients on it but none have yet reached the 13 week mark. It will simply be used to optimise the trial design, though no material new information seems to be expected, beyond the delivery mechanism.

What will be key, I think, is using the biomarker info to identify the 80% on whom iSCIB1+ will work - and getting that to patients asap.

….in that video, it is worth looking particularly at the responses to the last two questions (from 51 minutes)….and the body language.

I think they will be looking for accelerated approval and prompt partnering, and I’d expect further news on that perhaps as early as October.

Also note the significance of the biomarker. I infer that this will enable them to identify the patient groups for whom it won’t work - and to select only the 80% on whom it will work. That is very good news for that 80% - and would probably be the basis of early approval?

Might be a good idea if people focused on the nuances in that presentation instead of on irrelevant posts elsewhere by irrelevant people - or on AI nonsense.

I note that less than 30% of shares were voted, which probably means that the major shareholder voted, but only about 2% of the votes came from other shareholders. Whilst there was nothing contentious to vote on this time, I’d suggest that failure to vote shouldn’t become a habit.

Correct, bobbust. Basically, nearly 80% of the patient population are looking at disease control at worst, with perhaps a fifth of those looking at a CR. If the treatment is given earlier (and perhaps intradermally) it could be even better?

One would think the press, government and NHS would be latching onto the story soon.

Plainly not looking at dilution BuddhaBob. I infer from comments they have multiple companies with multiple possible deals under consideration - and the cash runway gives them a decent chance to pick the optimal way forward for shareholders. I’d expect a deal Q4 as they finalise the registration trial (which finalisation point will be reached before cohort 4 data is published).

I note that Phil thinks the data may get better as they mature. Very VERY stable PFS line…..unlike the existing standard of care. And quite an exciting opportunity to select the 80% of the population for whom it works best…..and also to apply iSCIB1+ to earlier stage disease.

Clearly very keen indeed to accelerate - and have a lot of options to finance that with deals of various types. Unless the stock market catches on quickly, I think the platform (and perhaps the company) will be taken out completely - and I really see no reason at all why people would be interested in selling their shares anywhere close to current levels. I’m expecting a very quick doubling in the share price as “the penny drops”.

And then, when someone suddenly picks it up and walks off with the whole company, they kick themselves.

It is worth noting that, as I was reliably told at the time, Redmile simply appeared out of the blue….with a clear intention to put in enough to fund the entire work programme. The questions were simply “what would that take?” and “how can we do it?”…..the latter Q being the reason for the CLNs.

In other words, all the research had been done - and Scancell had been targeted. I’ve seen that sort of approach happen a couple of times - and it is always very powerful when it happens……but the timeframe they arrived with will soon be coming to a conclusion and their corporate eye will be firmly on next steps - which is doubtless why they appointed a director to the board a year ago (following which there were several important changes to the management structure.

Watch this space, I think.

I’m pretty certain there will be a pivotal deal…..they are not short of options to do a deal involving some rights over one of the platforms. And a complete sale/merger/corporate deal may not be far away either.
