Nearly two trading days ago (Thursday lunchtime) I commented that “if you snooze, you lose”. The share price was then 10p midprice, so it is now up nearly 20%.

My sense for where we are now is that the share price is about to gap up.

Quite so. I think the price is being manipulated for a largeish buyer…..

An apparent 8% fall in the share price due to an “uncrossing” trade of just ONE share should raise eyebrows.

I think the market has dozed off here. There have been three fundamental changes that haven’t yet been reflected in the share price: $20mn cash inflow; Venezuela control by USA, targeting China-bound oil, as well as Russian-bound; Iran unrest growing, threatening another major source of oil for China.

I think someone will make a grab.

I see that Murphy’s latest well in the Cuu Long basin added $400mn+ to their market cap. Quite a chunk for an appraisal, implying further positives from their next two appraisals.

On this point, I remind folks of the "if you snooze you lose" saying, because the selling here has dampened the share price for so long, that people may well assume they have plenty of time.

At the same time in December when I paid 10.24 for my first of two top-ups here, I also bought shares in a company called Cohort, which had fallen from £16+ to under £10. I paid about £9.60 and it continued to fall, reaching under £9 over Christmas. You could have bought it there a week ago.

It is now back to nearly £11. There has been no company-specific news, just a renewed interest in undervalued stocks in their sector.

Sector sentiment could easily change sharply here too....as well as getting any company news.

The only biggish sale today was the 3mn at 9.50. That was triggered by someone taking 1mn at 9.60. I paid 10 for 40,000.

As Crusty points out, this is Groundhog Day. But if anyone wanted to put, say, £500k in, that would probably be a price mover…….all it needs is some institutional interest!

….mmmm…..well a 3mn sale at lunchtime confirms that comment.

Took another little clip before the close, just in case of news soon with the JPM conf coming up. The seller still seems to have more to go - but for how much longer?

ITT is being rather disingenuous. The fact that revenue cannot be booked within the period originally expected doesn’t mean it won’t be booked at all.

Both comments are correct. Personally I think there is every chance that Scancell will be the best performing AIM share in 2026 and will end the year somewhere north of 40p. This will leave almost everyone (including many holders!) feeling that they have missed out.

I’ll be visiting Pak Nam Pran again soon and will look for Inan putting the footings in for his mansion……

Good news on the $20mn receivables. Perhaps they will raise the dividend or drill 125.....

There is unlikely to be any “inflection point” on sentiment, without first having a game-changing announcement. I would be unsurprised if the share price doubled (or more) overnight when we get one.

Precisely, botski. And you don’t talk as they did at the AGM either!!

Whilst it is talking one’s book to say so, I am as certain as I can be that events will prove the current share price is a very substantial under-valuation. I wouldn’t be surprised if people end up falling over themselves to buy at 3 or 4x the current share price….and consider it cheap.

There is.

For example, they could say that “XYZ is paying us $600mn to buy an equity stake of X% in the Immunobody platform and will also fund the registration trial of iSCIB1+ which is expected to receive accelerated regulatory approval during 2026. This values the whole Immunobody platform at $1.7bn.”

A financing deal (with a partner) is my expectation, once the regulator has agreed the plan for the registration trial. It feels as if February will be the key month, by which time I’ll be in Pak Nam Pran, watching out for anyone building a 1 rai mansion ;-)
