The MT-RNR1 to all their neonatal hospitals while the rest of the UK is still running a test program at 14 hospitals spending a fortune having each and every test done yet again at a lab to confirm it. I call it throwing money down the pan. Why not follow Scotlands lead whch was based on a full financial report?

We will see in due course if the NHS and Angle Plc do a deal. It is no secret Angle have been looking to the NHS to use Parsortix.

Frankly what they have in mind is a mystery for now. I know something is going on.

It may be to do with HER2 analysis for breast cancer patients. That would be to see if the CTC HER2 status is positive, low or negative which would affect what treatment is suitable. This test was used in the Eisai cancer drug trial.

It could also be to do with dual analysis. Likely using the Illumina lung cancer assay to persorm dual analysis to find more cancer biomarkers.

People (rumoured) some weeks ago. It is known Angle have been looking to UK Government funding to further validate the Parsortix machine. One presumes the Illumina lung cancer "dual analysis" assay is in the frame. This assay can find about double the number of biomarkers CtDna alone can. Could also be HER2 of course. Maybe both?

You have 3% or more shares? Of late a Company could easily have bought several percent of GDR as so many have sold out fearing the worst. In fact they could conceivably have bought a lot more than that. Scottish Government backing for the Scottish rollout. FDA application to come. Get real. If the sp does not substancially improve an established medical machine supplier will pounce. It could not be more obvious.

Anyone would think the very strong rumour they had visitors representing the NHS visit very recently is a load of rubbish. Ahem!

From the general blood for the test? We have moved on!

1. DNA test the solid tissue sample (maybe a bit old but it all counts), 2. Do the standard CtDna test on the general blood. Up to date but could be missing about 50% of the biomarkers and no clue at all about the RNA or proteins! 3. DNA test the CTC's (caught using Angle's Parsortix machine) to find the other 50% or so of the biomarkers, analyse the RNA and proteins .

The second two should only take days to get the results.

Maybe I'll buy some shares in Myriad Genetics.

Their test will be streets ahead of the competition in due course by the looks.

Last Wednesday. IMHO the Myriad Genetics contract will spur other CtDna Co's to speak to Angle Plc. Myriad intend to work with Angle to adapt their existing solid tissue DNA analysis tech to work with the circulating tumour cells (CTC's) that Angle's Parsortix will catch from a standard blood sample. Then people with cancer where it is not possible to get a solid tissue sample will be able to have the CTC's tested for cancer biomarkers that might be targeted by modern cancer drugs.

Also, people with cancer where a olid tissue sample is available will be able to have the "dual analysis" of both CtDna found in the general blood and DNA analysis of the CTC's. In fact, it's "triple analysis" is it not? Solid tissue, general blood and the CTC's. TRIPLE ANALYSIS!!

Changes during a cancer drug trial first? It's got to happen IMHO. I'm gobsmacked it has not happened already. Don't companies doing cancer drug trials want monitor and record the CTC changes as their expensive drug does it's thing (or not!). How on Earth can they ignore the oppertunity that is staring them in the face?

Why are these Companies interested? Biggest reason is simply cancer biomarkers have been found to exist in circulating tumour cells (CTC's). Angle's Parsortix machine can catch these CTC's for DNA analysis. Why is this important? Many modern cancer drugs utilise biomarkers to target a cancer. Until now a sample of the original cancer tumour tissue is used to see if a person's cancer can be targeted in this way (to look for cancer biomarkers). Unfortunately, in the time between the biopsy and treatment (weeks or even months) the cancer evolves sometimes losing the biomarker flag or gaining other ones. So, an up-to-date analysis is really needed. How can this be done? By analysing CTC's caught from a standard blood sample. Parsortix takes a few hours to catch any CTC's, DNA analysis takes say 6 hours or so. In theory results could be obtained in a few days. There you have it.

Of interested Plc's is steadily growing. I'm hearing they are also communicating with the UK's Department of Health and Social Care aiming to get dual analysis available in the NHS.

To me it is inconceivable Myriad Genetics In.c won't be able to offer a blood sample based circulating tumour cell DNA analysis to their existing solid tumour test range. Angle have already done similar to produce the Illumina liquid "dual analysis" lung cancer assay test. It is only a matter of Myriad and Angle overcoming similar technical challenges (that Myriad are going to pay for). Looking very good indeed!

They don't do an RNS every time a few machines are sold to a hospital. They already said that. Only financially significant deals can be RNS's. For example, if a Middle Eastern private hospital hospital chain with several hospitals decided to buy. I was under the impression this was a possibiity.
