The circulating tumor cells (CTC's) that Parsortix will catch from a standard blood sample. Will show what % are the same and what % are different. There will be some difference as the CTC's change over time. So will 90% be the same, 80% or whatever. What % will be considered useful??? If 90% are the same than I's say that would be very useful indeed. Another important point is this. If ANY CTC's are found in a blood sample, I for one would want rid of them. To me even if only small amounts of CTC's with a known biomarker are found (and not in the solid tissue sample) I would want rid of them! Dual analysis is worth a fortune IMHO.

"FDA application for lung cancer testing". That occured to me too, or did you get that from me? Illumina now have a 79 gene assay, as of 3 or 4 months back, that is designed for use with Parsortix for "dual analysis" so why not apply for FDA approvel for that? Criteria might be something like "enables finding say AT LEAST 25% more biomarkers". One assumes you have to set the level you claim, and the FDA either says it does, or it does not? How else can a test like this be validated? I mean, if Angle could get some sort of FDA creditation for dual analysis the sp might be back to 50p a share.

Also with an RNS it's news that other Plc's will be watching. Obviously the Illumina connection is starting to lead to other things. The door is open still for deals with other Companies. Astrazeneca still not done any more deals with Angle. I find that amazing. Totally.

Initialy I thought this was very good news. Then I had doubts as no financials. Now I have looked at Myriad Genetics site. They already have deals with Illumina and Qiagen, and are listed on NASDAQ.

THIS IS HUGE NEWS. If CTC analysis is added to Myriads existing analysis using parsortix to recover the CTC's it would be a game changer for Angle. They would need bigger premises to process the amount. Thousands and thousands of tests.

Your mistake is you think Genedrive are notified a day or so before any news. They are not. They might be notified within a few hours of any publication but not much more than that. The problem is the NHS, with layers and layers of management and commitees that need to give their ok before anything happens. It's ridiculous.

It's not Gino's fault the "implementation guide" for the CYP2C19 testing in hospitals has STILL not been published. It's the NHS. A really good example of them being unbelievably slow. I don't know what people set up the latest version but it's another complete disaster IMHO. Now we have labours "ten year plan". Well they did say the NHS has priority as far as being financed goes. Fingers crossed.

You are asking for advice. Giving it in the UK is illegal unless you have the relevant qualifications. Although posters like "Executioner" (see below) do as they assume nothing will happen. Probably correct but you never know. It's up to you.

Can now be targeted by Genedrive? I must admit I'm not too impressed with their sales side to date. However they only need one or two chains of private hospitals to use the machines to massively up sales. For the MT-RNR1 ID the sales pitch "help ensure your baby won't be rendered deaf by antibiotics" is one angle. I mean that is quite good for getting parents to use your hospital, is it not!! Presumaby the sales people at Genedrive are on this. I wonder who is in charge of the sales side?

The value of a Company is not just what is in the bank.

Genedrive have spent millions of pounds developing the two machines (alongside the NHS), and getting the notorious NICE to test them and the slow, difficult, and frustrating NHS to actually use them. I think "a complete nightmare" would be Genedrive's comment on their experience with this. God help any other Companies that have machines that want the NHS to use. In fact, why bother at all? However, Genedrive have been navigating this for a few years and finally the Scottish Government have made the logical decision to roll out the MT-RNR1 ID kit throughout Scotland (in October). Also 14 hospitals in the rest of the UK NHS on long term test for possible use in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. It's good that the test information can be used to make an early assessment of the MT-RNR1 ID kit and that is what Genedrive intend to do I believe.
