Would have to agree. Where this has happened elsewhere 1, or a few share holders who between them own 75% have done it. Genedrive don't even have any share holders with 3%, let alone 75%! My opinion is either they will raise the money (directors buying a reasonable amount and taking a big pay cut) or a bid will happen. At 0.85p Current market cap £5.5m, no debt. 624,900,000 shares in issue.

2.5p x 624,900,000 = £15.6m..................... Someone has got to be tempted surely!

As we have known for several months there is no specific budget for using the "point of care testing machines" at all. To date in the hospitals where they are in use the payment comes from either the testing budget or the ***individual NHS trusts budget***. To follow this advice what are Hospitals supposed to do It appears they should use the individual NHS trusts budget. That is the only thing they can do to follow the advice. It seems pretty obvious to me.

Happening. I wonder what Ian Gilham would do if a bid came in at say 2.5p a share? Would he say take the money and run? Or the old "we have excellent prospects and 2.5p a share is a massive under valuation" come out. As this Company has no share holders with at or above 3% (unless that line was crossed in the last 10 days) there is less visibility on how shareholders will react to a bid. Personally 2.5p a share would be tempting, but 3p a share I'd probably sell. I have over 1m shares.

Frankly surprised no medical equipment supplier to hospitals has made an approach yet. It is nothing short of unbelievable if you ask me.

To start from scratch and get to where Genedrive are what would it cost? Millions, let's face it, it has cost Genedrive millions to date! Enough to make most Companies not bother with the NHS. Makes you wonder what machines the NHS don't have simply because it costs millions and takes years to get anywhere the way the system is set up.
