Should be only the start of deals as is not an exclusive one at the moment and if Myriad want to add CTC analysis to their menu others will follow. Any Company in the World could do a deal with Angle Plc if they want. This is a fantastic turn of events. If other Co's want to analyse CTC's as well what tech are they going to use to catch them? Without Angle's Parsortix machine how will they, especially for DNA analysis???? Other Companies should have seen this coming a year ago or more. I can't believe how slow they all are. It's totally amazing.

If Myriad Inc. want to add analysing circulating tumour cells (CTC's) to their existing comprehensive cancer analysis tests one wonders what other similar Companies want to do the same. More importantly how will they catch the CTC's to analyse? Angle's Parsortix I believe is the "gold standard" for catching CTC's for DNA analysis as the CTC's are 99% alive and intact. Other systems for catching the CTC's contaminate the sample in the way they are caught. Myriad have picked the best system. The deal is not exclusive and so the door is open at Angle for other similar deals.

8th out of the 14. Getting there slowly. More evedence the NHS is incredibly slow with all this. The Scottish rollout on the other hand is not to yet further test the MT-RNR1. The 15 or so Hospitals won't have to mess about getting each test verified by a lab which is an unbelievable waste of money IMHO considering all the testing that has aleardy been done.

There may be more up to date methods of slide preparation than FFPE (happy to be educated on this), but this prep method will alter the viability of the cell.

The liquidising and Parsortix extraction method that I mentioned earlier could deliver viable cells for analysis with very little delay.

It could provide viable tumour cells from a solid tissue sample before any have been released into the bloodstream as CTCs.

Interesting. So you liquidise the tissue sample (or part of it). Then run that liquid through the Parsortix machine to get the CTC's or should I say tumour cells out for DNA analysis. Sounds possible to me, but I'm not an expert. Food for thought.

The sp rise is more likely due to the JV with Myriad Genetics, the rumoured NHS visit and the interest from other Genetic analysis Co's that know Parsortix delivers live intact ctc's ideal for DNA analysis. What do they do if Myriad get an exclusice deal. Get some tissues and have a cry?
