In case you don't. illusory means based on an illusion so not real. I believe it is illusive as I have said. Circulating tumor cells are real. They have been DNA tested. Cancer biomarkers can be found that are also in tumor solid tissue, the general blood (excluding ctc's) and CTC's. Some are exclusive to CTC's. That is why Illumina have worked with Angle to produce a lung cancer assay that is already used, all be it so far in Angle's lab as a service. This assay is being further developed for "off the shelf use". They intend to sell it on Illumina's web site.

Myriad Genetics want to able to apply their assays (tests) to CTC's caught by Angle's Parsortix machine.

Abreast of this news and wondering if they should speak to Angle as well. They would not be doing their job if they don't follow what their competitors are up to. Angle are working with Illumina and now Myriad but the big deal is still illusive. The Myriad collaboration will use their assay to analyse the DNA in CTC's. Biomarkers have already been proven to exist in CTC's that complement those found in CTDna and solid tissue. As far as I am concerned it's just a technical challenge to measure what is already known to exist.

Has done is sold off or next to nothing. GDR has had to move heaven and Earth to just get to here. All the difficult bit is done has it not Mr Gillham, apart fro the FDA application strangely enough. GDR should have been advised to pursue the FDA application for the MT-RNR1 as a priority. Now the application has not even been made and USA Co's with a single braincell will be looking to buy GDR on the cheap and reap $millions.

I could not agree more. They are in denial with the facts about circulating tumour cell DNA analysis mounting up in study after study. I can't believe how slow these Companies are to actually DO SOMETHING. Mutley DO SOMETHING! springs to mind, LOL! The top people at these huge Plc's often don't make the big decisions as they are terrified of getting it wrong. If they get this one right and buy Angle they could completely revolutionise the way drug trials are done. Making sure the cancer has not evolved by testing just before a trial. Then monitoring the CTC's over the weeks to see how the cancer drug affects the CTC's. I find it sad and astonishing that one of them has not simply bought Angle.
