We are in Slovenia, not Croatia. We are being effectively shut down by the Slovenian Government by them not issuing permits (Environment ministry overseen by Jure Leben). You keep posting silly optimistic rubbish which might mis-lead a potential investor.
Please stop this.

I think ARSO and Mr Leben will only issue the permits if they are told to by someone else.
So the PM, or a court.
Once some Slovenians have lost their jobs maybe Leben will start to feel the heat.
If I was working for Ascent and Leben had effectively lost me my job I would not be a happy bunny.
This is exactly what is going to happen soon. Maybe very soon.
This is not just talk. Ascent's business simply cannot carry on without the permits. It's very simple.
Sales no longer cover the overheads. Either Ascent get the permits or the Slovenian operation will go bust, or be moth balled, which is what I want. Ascent need to moth ball the whole Slovenian operation whilst persuing damages against the Slovenian Government through the EU courts.

In this Delo article about the Magna paint shop Gorazd Zdenko Marincek seems to want to close down, he has posted a blatant lie saying fracking is prohibited in Britain, when it was un-banned in 2018.
Maybe someone should threaten to take him to court for damages? He surely must know it is not banned now!
Of course strictly speaking it's not fracking anyway.

the IPPC permit paperwork was handed back to ARSO by Jure Lebens commitee investigating ARSO's procedures. Before the internal review our CEO, Colin had been assued by the then Director General of ARSO the IPPC permit was just a few days away from being issued. That cost the director general his job as apparently he should not divulge information like that. So where is the permit ARSO??? Why, oh why has it STILL not been issued?
Ascent should start legal action next week. This will be picked up by Slovenian media who have already pointed out new delay with the Magna paint shop due to Gorazd Marincek doing an official complaint. The same man who has caused Ascent 80% of it's permit problems!!! If I was Slovenian I would want him deported for damaging the economy!

Magma factory environmental dispute. Talk about BAD publicity for Slovenia.This is absolutely devastating. Magma must be furious! Any investors BEWARE. Magma have spent what......... I guess 30 million Euros building a paint shop in Slovenia (they played Hungary against Slovenia to see who wanted it most). Then Slovenia helps with finance for this plant that would create about 400 jobs. Then the very man (Gorazd Marincek.) who seems to have caused Ascent nearly all it's problems does it again but to Magna!!! Is he trying to destroy the Slovenian economy single handed? I bet the Government over there are somewhat annoyed!!!!!!!! But hey Jure........ he's one of your friends isn't he?

The clock is tickling for Ascent to run out of money directly because we simply cannot get ANY permits from the Slovenian Environment ministry, overseen by Jure Leben. If things don't change ARSO and Jure Leben will be directly responsible for the Slovenian job losses to do with the gas field and the failure of Ascent Resources Plc. This is fact.

This Gorazd Zdenko Marinček man who caused us the first 3 years or so of delays has just made himself I believe very unpopular in Slovenia. He has objected (probably not for the first time) to the building of the Magna factory in Slovenia. This factory looking at the pictures must have cost milions of Euros. Apparently the Government over there helped finance it. I have read it will, or should I say might create 400 or so jobs. Apart from Gorazd I would have thought the Environment Ministry will be unpopular as well as it's their system which is once again being used to destroy jobs and investment in Slovenia. Colin will be able to refer to this in his interviews etc. over there.

My appologies. High volume fracking was banned from about 2011 until some time in 2018 when Cuadrilla was given permission. However this is franky irrelevant as what Ascent/Geoenergo and Petrol want to do at the 2 wells is not fracking anyway. It's hydraulic stimulation using low water volume on sandstone. Fracking is a USA term for horizontal wells through slate using high water volume.

that fracking is banned in the UK when it is not. High volume frackin was banned until 2011 when new checks and safeguards were introduced. He fails to mention what we want to do is not fracking, or if you want to split hairs might be called low volume fracking which has been done in Slovenia since the 1950's. He's now objecting to the new paint shop Magna have spent x millions building!

Exactly. I want Ascent to DEMAND the permit is re-instated, or threaten legal action through the EU courts. That demand should be sent by Ascent solicitors to ARSO, with Leben and the Slovenian PM copied in. Then when they ignore it I want Ascent to issue proceedings.

No problem. It's become clear Slovenia has very, very major problems with gettting planning permission for......... well almost anything. Just ONE person can hold up a planing permission permit for OVER 3 YEARS, exactly what happened to Ascent and it's Slovenian partners for the so called IPPC permit (basically planning permission to build a gas processing plant). Indeed that same permit has taken nearly FIVE YEARS to date and counting. The icing on the cake now is the new Environment minister who seems to himself be, well, what can I say.......... rather green?? Green to the extent he knows Slovenia have coal burning power stations and one nuclear, yet seems to NOT want gas to take over some of that. Maybe he thinks burning coal and creating nuclear waste is cleaner than burning gas?? Hmm. Maybe he has some other reason??? Maybe he knows the NGO who originally objected to the gas plant? Indeed they were on the same tv program talking about it..............Makes you wonder does it not?
