the Slovenian Environment ministry carries on. Talk about bad publicity for investment in Slovenia. Their media, and we are talking the papers AND tv programs keep reporting the obvious problems wiith their licensing/permitting systems (as in it takes YEARS for anything to get approved). The latest Magna paint shop dispute which endangers the creation os around 400 jobs is a classic example. The plant, costing I would guess tens of millions of Euros is almost built, then the NGO bloke Gorazd Marincek appeals against the permit. I bet Jure Leben was horrified when that happened as he is seen as being loosely associated with him. That is bad for Jure Lebens popularity. Can't say I'm that bothered to be honest.

Yes, so much for democracy. May is right. The UK voted to leave, so our politicians should do what we have asked them to do. Another referendum seems unfair. According to our own democratic moral standards either they negotiate a deal out, or we crash out and pick up the pieces. We voted out so that is exactly what should happen. If it does not then democracy has been torn up.

I think it's more likely than not we get the IPPC permit if only so they don't leave themselves open to legal action (according to Ascent it was ILLEGALLY revoked in 2016). The other 2 hydraulic stimulation ones? More like 50/50. I think, if he can, Jure Leben will stop them. But can he? Also is it the case that he might be told to issue them by a superior?

grave from the legal point of view, at least as far as the IPPC permit goes. To explain it was issued in 2016, then ILLEGALLY revoked. There is an Ascent RNS that says exactly that. It was ILLEGAL. At the time Ascent were in no rush and so simply re-applied rather than sue. Of course Ascent are in no position to actually build the plant even if they get the planning permission. Indeed until far more gas is coming out of the ground in say a years time (if the well stimulation permits ever arrive) there is next to no chance of the plant being built anyway! It must have occured to Ascent they might make more money out of a legal case than the gas field. I wonder if ARSO really know what the situation is? To me they seem wide open to legal action regarding the IPPC permit. If they have not they should have taken legal advice. Maybe they are that disorganised?

I'm annoyed with all this talk of changing the Company direction etc when in reality Ascent does not have the money to do this. Same with improving the gas production by means other than stimulation. What are we going to do...... steal the equipment, because we certainly can't afford it.
Maybe a massive placing is on it's way. I would not be surprised as we need the money.
What we need are the permits and it seems that the Minister Jure Leben is stopping them being issued (still).
If we can get the permits then the sp will be more like 2p IMHO.
Why is the talk of legal action quietly being dropped?
Ramper will say because somethings being sorted out.
Derampers will say because they realised it would be pointless.
Bottom line is we need the permits still and it makes my blood boil that a lot of the negative publicity the wells have had is based on lies made by NGO's who seem to be brainless idiots. Slovenia should deport them to a small island in the Pacific where thay can live off the land and not annoy anyone. Frigging idiots.

The board need to DO SOMETHING to get the frigging permits. Expanding in to other Countries!!! Pull the other one! Where is the MONEY going to come from?
1. Expanding outside Slovenia. Money from where???
2. Increasing gas production by other means. Money from trees??
This whole thing is just daft. They need to get the sp up to do a placing. maybe that is why a load of rampers have tyrned up here. They won't be the ones who get stung though as they probably don't have any shares!!

Hello. Are you on drugs or something? The only good news is this new bloke who might do some good. Other than that we have money running down, no permit news, legal action not mentioned so I suppose the board have run scared of that now. What a total joke. The company is on it's knees, has backed off of legal action by the looks and its praying the sp will improve up after this RNS and interview (so they can do a placing) which sounds positive but in fact is a load of rubbish. They should launch legal action at the Slovenian Government ASAP.

What upside? For heavens sake have I missed something?
- The current gas supply probably will not even support the overheads.
- There is NO sign whatsoever ANY permits will be issued at all. Everything points to them being sat on deliberately because people in ARSo and Jure Leben fear hydraulic stimulation so have decided to stop it. Simple as that.
There is no upside. I see new posters have come out of the wood work trying to post positive stuff. Some sort of scheme IMHO.
