RE: RNS11 Dec 2022 12:59
I can see the point about BBE date, but we should start with the "assumption" the Company has sensible stock control. The batch No support this assumption. For example, the first recorded batch No I have is 21E0546 (used for the bog-off launch). The batch No has been sequential 21E0875, 0877, the next 0894/98. However, as we can see, there are no 88 batches, which is a lot of stock because each batch is *c6500 boxes. *as far as my old grey can recall.
The current batch I have is 21E0894 BBF 08/23, so there is plenty of time. I have out-of-date Cholx3, which is still working fine. If BBE date gets too close, they will discount as every other retail outfit does. OPTI does this every few months.
For example, if a subscriber has applied a discounted offer, I think it is normal to chuck in a near BBE date and trust the customer to use this first before the other with a longer BBE.
If marketing is reading this, and you have not thought of this, I'll accept a one-year discount; thank you very much. :)
