Empress were at the Mining Indaba in Cape Town. There could be any number of reasons for visiting Manica. One of them may have been to get a confidence level on income in order to assess what other investments were of interest at the Indaba.

I hope you are enjoying the news.
I agree that it is a good deal. The additional cash to ARC will be useful. The SP is down but the long term prospects for ARC look good - I don't think we will see 1.6p near term. I am surprised AA are back in Zambia. I expected a deal, if there was one to be with someone else. They have given themselves some breathing room but have made the big decision. I was wrong on this.
I found a few pie crumbs in the fridge, they are out of date and don't taste very nice. However, I am pleased that LTH got their deal after a rather long journey on a very windy, bumpy road :-).

I wonder if CB is at the Mining Indaba in Cape Town? He was in Cape Town in Feb, the week that the Indaba was originally scheduled for.

I did get the impression that you thought one was on the way. I am not surprised by the placing and wonder if the previous Friday's RNS was their first attempt to guage things. I feel a bit sorry for the placing guys TBH. I get the impression they were sold something more than this morning's RNS. I like their assets in Botswana but you have seen my previous posts.. It took a loong time to drill 1000m so even if they find something in the GRS the cost of adding any confidence will be very high. I'm guessing that it also means that Ditau isn't a guaranteed win at the moment.
Good to know that GLR have wads of money in the bank!

The 4.53p is the SP from the June RNS. They must have signed up to a contract that included more than the KSZ. That explains why the shares haven't been issued to Mindea for the KSZ drilling. Thank you Ben!

Kavango's technical team is now assessing the provenance of the breccia unit, which it believes may represent either a weathered carbonatitic ash flow or a weathered Dwyka tillite.'

Does this mean the breccia was intercepted between the sand cover and sediments?

On the bottom left of the picture there some round brown items on or in the ground. I can't make them out very well and am a bit hesitant to ask. They seem a bit close together and It seems unlikely but is it possible these are old drill casings?

I've been in touch with a couple of publications. Hopefully they will get a statement from Regency Mining regarding their plans for Casa and an in depth interview with NVS on 'the deal'.
