From the 19th April RNS
'The first hole will target the core of the magnetic high, while the second hole is designed to test the edge of the negative magnetic response.'
From the 29th April RNS
'The hole was completed to a total depth of 300.14m, which the Company's technical team believes has tested the geophysical target at this specific location.
The Borehole intersected units including a breccia of 20.44m from 83.90m, and a dolomitic carbonate rock from 154.89m. This latter may contain stromatolitic features. Kavango's technical team is now assessing the provenance of the breccia unit, which it believes may represent either a weathered carbonatitic ash flow or a weathered Dwyka tillite.
In addition, a 7.16m intrusive, considered to be a dolerite, was intersected from 247.73m.'
Presumably one (or more) of the three units intercepted (that we have been told about) is believed to be responsible for the magnetic high. Kav actually appear to have hit the target and we don't have any info on mineralisation but I'm taking it as a positive RNS.

Perhaps both deals will get announced at the Mining Indaba? The president of Botswana is also attending. ARCM announcing both deals next week would make for some great headlines.

I hear Khoemacau is up for grabs. Perhaps ARCM could acquire that with their spare change, once they complete the deal in Zambia?Maybe that is what Remy really meant when referring to FCF.

I agree the deal with CASA looks good. To me the most positive aspect is dumping the liabilities and ongoing OPEX of Casa since it seemed ARC were not able to progress it. My reading of the RNS is that the $7.5m shares in Tingo Inc are already in ARC's posession and only the cash and other shares are still at risk. The comment about closing leaves a slight niggle. I haven't found Regency Mining - yet!
I find it interesting that the survey was includesd in the same RNS.
The pie remains in the fridge. It has a use by date of the 11th May. :-).

I don't honestly know. I think their funds will be starting to get low but I don't think they would need a placing just yet. With all the projects on the go they may have taken a decision to do a placing earlier than strictly necessary. One thing that puzzles me is that the shares to Mindea for drilling the KSZ still haven't been issued.

Great research. However, The EL5574 2021 licence renewal doc states
'Native Title
2. The licence holder must not prospect on any land or waters within the exploration area on which Native Title has not been extinguished under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) without the prior written consent of the Minister. '
It seems like it's just a formality but is probably why we haven't got the permits yet.
The April 2020 ProspectOre presentation states
'No native title claim exists over the area.'

I am hoping that the Q1 results aren't out yet as CB is waiting for something concrete to give us on Fair Bride. Note: I did say hoping...

I wonder if CB is going to the Mining Indaba? CB my thoughts are that you don't need to go shopping again for GLR just yet - we have some great projects to explore and develop. It would however be interesting to know more about Khoemacau's plans, perhaps more info will come to light in the next couple of weeks.

The 29th Oct RNS states
'- The Aeromagnetic Model accurately predicted the intersection of TA2DD002 with the Proterozoic gabbro at 650m'
I suspect the above is a correct statement bit is very carefully worded. It does not state that that is where they expected to hit the proterozoic. Although the AEM data predicted it at that depth I am guessing other data made them think that it was at a different depth, hence the statement in the 16th Aug RNS.
In Jeremy Brett's presentation prior to the drilling of the GRS it is explained that the location was chosen due to the expectation of the proterozoic being shallower at that location than GRS-1. This did not turn out to be the case.

I agree this is complex, high risk exploration and findings may not always be what are either expected or desired. However, investors need comms to be decent to allow them to assess the ongoing risks.
When I made the comment about Sandfire they already held the licences to the north of KAV's area.
BT needs to be very careful about comms on Ditau.

'- Hole to test deeper Karoo gabbro "keel" (est. up to 800m), believed to be connected to the same gabbro encountered at Hole TA2DD001'
My reading is that they expected the conductor to be in the Karoo.

Why would it need to be a surprise? The interview shows that HH wants to shout about any successes NOW. The Kalaba licence areas still haven't been segregated so a deal still seems like a pipe dream.
