Indeed, profit on the stockpile is around $3m so KMUK gets around $2m profit (Kodal c $1m profit). Based on AISC $647 pt and sell price of $800 pt.

The good news is that kod can still operate in this low price environment. Medium to long term in order to produce lithium at decent volumes globally the price has to be nearer $1kpt. Personally I’d like to see the lithium being bought out in full by Hainan then we can go and explore and develop the gold. Gold prices forecasting to hit $4kpt in q2 2026 and no signs of reducing.

Just wondered what people’s thoughts are on giving value back to shareholders? SVV are clearly going the dividend route. Do we think eventually this will happen or possibly share buy backs to boost the SP. Keen to see what people think…below is info from SVV, cheers.

This is an excellent result for Sure Ventures PLC and its shareholders. We would like to congratulate the Sure Valley Ventures team, the founders of Getvisibility and all connected with the execution of this sale. The proceeds will be used to clear down our debt, keep cash to avoid shareholder dilution and then pay a dividend to shareholders which the board will announce in due course.

Importantly, the message we wish to send shareholders is that SVV Fund 1 is now in "exit mode" and now we have cleared our debt and made provision for the future, any further exits will see increased returns by way of further dividends"

Personally I am not sure we will see realisations of IR until next year but happy waiting, as value likely to increase.

Struggling to understand this negativity, just with IR value to MF is $18m and that’s at current value which is likely to increase. Plus the GV funds coming in paying off any debt…and potential of chunky share options if SP increases. Plenty more realisations to come too…

I think a few people need to understand that anywhere between 1 in 5000 to 1 in 10000 junior miners get to production. So many fail. So the fact that kodal has managed to get to production is incredible. Plus the fact we are more than fully funded. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Patience is absolutely required especially in Africa (look at Atlantic lithium where I was invested in). Ultimately, we are producing above 5.5 per cent spod and building a robust DMS plant. Floatation plant will come as will gold, but you’ll need to hold to see gains.

Ctai rising again….surely our time will come as fundamentals seem to be v strong vs other ai plays.

Kodal’s share would be £286m revenue based on this and based on 35 per cent Mali and Hainan having the same share ie 51 per cent of the JV. Clearly would be associated costs, but decent amount of £.

Fatou based on an old inferred MRE of 350k Oz is £897m. Clearly Mali government would take a chunk but it’s a decent size.

Goldman Sachs forecasts have actually been pretty good. And they are forecasting over $1kpt which means reasonable profit for KMUK

Buyout makes sense for sure, but I don’t think it will happen until resource upgrade gets announced. If kodal gets to 50 mt that is almost 2/3 higher than current resource, and Bernie as a shareholder will want to see the massive gains, he and Steve and rest of the kodal team absolutely deserve it. Mining in Africa isn’t for the faint of heart and a ton of obstacles so I’m extremely pleased where we are current at. Well done team kodal!
