I would absolutely agree with you broomtree prior to a ton of shares being given to the board now. So makes sense for them financially to give some sort of a dividend. Alternative is a share buy back.

SVV as an example are paying dividends, i would expect a dividend to be paid at some point here. Not necessarily in the short term though.

That’s not what the latest interview that someone posted here said…nick said that he’s likely to pay dividends in the future. Think was from a recent podcast?

Also with IR have a look at recent activity over the past few months. They are quietly gobbling up other AI plays to boost their value. Wouldn’t surprise me if someone like Meta or Google decided to buy them outright before it even gets to IPO.

The thing is with this stock, there isn’t much stock available if people are holding medium to long term. I’ve got close to 9m here and have no plans to sell anytime soon. Can imagine others have chunky holdings and will do the same. When IR gets realised here that is one serious pay day. Can imagine dividends being paid to the loyal holders with a lot of upside if you ignore the noise and hold for a while.

I think buy out becomes much more realistic once the resource upgrade comes in and prove that DMS can run a full capacity. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if Hainan are lining up for that as they’ll want to take the whole lot (especially as government are taking a decent chunk). And I think resource will be at least 50 mt, one of the world’s top 10 with a quality resource too.

Yep agreed Lav. They could well be traders trying to scare people into selling their kodal shares so they can buy in cheaper or have shorted it. But yep I’ve never really understood it, it’s clear a lot of these names haven’t done their research and due diligence…

Agreed, the fundamentals here are v strong especially considering will be debt free once the get visibility funds land). Then it’s a waiting game. Do I think IR value can get to $1 Tn? I am highly doubtful. Do I think current validation of $12 Bn is low (which is worth £10m to MF)? Absolutely. So a lot of upside to come imo. I think anything sub 2p should do well but will absolutely be spikes up and down. I’m ignoring these and topping up when I can.

Also folks remember this is Africa! I had to sell at a loss in Atlantic, ongoing delays are just the norm in Africa. No one can change that. I’d be way more worried if we weren’t able to ramp up production quantities at the desired quality. The fact that we have managed to deserves to be applauded. Yep and as long as it’s above 5.5 that is considered a decent quality and means Hainan will be happy. Some mines get to 6 but that’s pretty rare.

It’s out of Kodal’s control. Typical power game. We keep producing and increase the carrot of “by the way this is worth X to the government”. The government aren’t stupid just being in Africa exceptionally slow. The final signature will happen it’s just a waiting game. Plus Bernie had the tour on 3rd April and showed the delegates around. They will now report back positively and it will be signed. There is no reason not to. Kodal has abided by every single thing, employing lots of the local workforce plus abiding by the new mining code. Reckon a few more weeks at the most, surely.

The overall picture I think is good for UK with 10 per cent tariff. China wtf at 34 per cent?! Wow, that’s madness.
