With low market cap businesses there are often big drops and also big rises…all about looking at the bigger picture here and we all agree it’s undervalued. News will absolutely see this increase but sometimes the SP changes for no reason at all. People could sell up to try to realise gains elsewhere perhaps. But could easily miss the opportunity to see substantial rises here.

Yep it’s always good when directors buy. Some derampers will stay say kod is dead in the water though. Spod price bottom has been hit I think and I am forecasting $800 pt by the end of the year. Onwards and upwards 👍

Spod price I think would need to lift to get us there. Think that will happen but may take time.

Don’t worry though all these derampers are mining experts and haven’t realised 99.9 per cent of junior miners even fail to get to production.

It’s not ideal with the share price languishing at these levels. But remember BA has a ton of these shares so it’s hitting him too. It’s just the lithium market is a bear market, but it will turn. Just impossible to say when. And there are the gold projects too which i am keen to hear of an update…

Could happen re takeover. Old name Pires was takeover target by Tern valued at the time at £14.9m. And in a way better position now with portfolio and no debt.

Hi IvRoche I think anywhere near these prices we will need funding for stage 2 as this is going to cost more than the DMS. Funding likely to come from Hainan but that is just my thoughts. I think if resource upgrade gets to 50mt (estimated by year end) and DMS is running well, Hainan will purely offer to buyout. We will see, but there won’t be enough £ from DMS to construct stage 2 unless prices rise significantly.

Interesting read, if this happens when the floatation plant comes online there would be a huge demand supply imbalance from 2029/2030.

Who knows though, it’s hard to forecast but it’s inevitable prices HAVE to rise. Many producing at these levels are selling at a loss. That cannot be sustainable.

Everyone is entitled to their thoughts but ivenoidea how else do you think kodal should have handled it? Spod price is out of their control and I’d much rather have an OTA than not have one as it guarantees a supply chain for 4 years plus it’s negotiated annually re the floor price so what’s not to like? All lithium producers are feeling the pinch. Kod is in a way better position than many as it’s low cost so all it takes is a little uplift and we’re making money. Others need it to reach $1000 pt. So I’m v grateful it’s been signed.

Also good to hear the floor price will be looked at annually. So, if there is a surge in lithium price then floor price will follow.

My view is they are waiting for some recovery in the floor price and therefore have a $ in mind, in the hope by Jan there is a reasonable recovery to get close to what they have in mind.

Great to finally have the offtake signed. And for a period of 4 years locked in. Hainan need the spod after investing heavily in a processing plant. What are these derampers to say next? It’s embarrassing.

We’ve got to remember that these results are only up until 31 Dec 2024. Post period end, GV £2.6m and also uplift in IR/Napster value which I don’t think are included. So it’s a strong buy and hold from me.
