I don’t agree, I think a lot of this is out of Bernie’s control. I’d much rather have Bernie leading us when compared with most CEOs who are in it for themselves and constantly dilute shareholders. He didn’t have to buy recently, he did as a show of strength in the project. I do think the timelines that Bernie has had in the past are way too optimistic and that’s something he and the board should learn moving forwards though.

Obviously we aren’t SVV but I also think Mindflair won’t rule out special dividends in the future. Any thoughts re share buybacks? Would that be a good idea to boost the SP?

I’d much rather Bernie and Steve take their time to optimise the plant effectively. Just look at what’s happened at Prem.

Indeed sharebug, I mentioned there is no way the majority can make a profit at those prices and even these prices most make a loss (luckily kod make a small profit). My thoughts remain in that once the resource upgrade gets announced by year end, Hainan will offer a buyout as long term lithium prices really need to be $1000 pt plus for most to make a profit.

It’s not new re news that Hainan were looking at building a second lithium refinery in Saudi, That was mentioned sometime ago by them in one of the board meetings. I think this means that they were pursuing a JV with Ajilan and Bros and this is no longer going ahead? I may have mis read this though.

I’d be very surprised if there is much difference in grades considering they are right next to one another so therefore the geological make up of the area is likely to be very similar.

I can’t see any 15m sells though.

Fair enough, you did mention on twitter you were fully out on 3rd July before this rise and for spod to recover. The good news is kod is a low cost producer so any decent rise in spod means ££. Good luck to you 👍

Was so close to loading another £20k at 0.25 last week…oh well…like quite a few others I can imagine.

It’s hard to see a decent profit swing to a loss but I didn’t foresee such a large drop in spod (plus Mali delays). But I am genuinely hugely excited for the next few years here (if we don’t get bought out sooner). All the best to kod shareholders, let’s do this!
