One thing to note is Nick Lee and the bod don’t pay themselves a salary, just have the share options. So it is absolutely in their interest to give a return to shareholders at some point in the future.

Aha yep I see with gold being a safe haven and prices going up if a crash were to happen.

I think we’ve got a mix of some goldfields in Mali and Ivory Coast. Lots of work to do on the gold side, it’s more of a long term view.

Also if anyone was looking at potential other investments, I’ve bought into ggp. Helps diversify. I won’t go into details here but worth a look if people wanted to add something in alongside kod.

For me it makes sense for Hainan to offer a buy out within the next few months, as lithium spod price is still not too high. If I was Hainan I’d wait until 50mt is announced then put a cheeky offer in (they paid double the share price at the time for the initial JV). I think spod price will stabilise around the $1k mark for a while.

Folks unfortunately there are a few around, I come from the kod board and my goodness it’s mad. I think some people just want to see people fail which is quite frankly weird. But as I’ve always said there best to Dyor and then it’s up to you to buy hold or sell.

I don’t think tern have the funds available for a TO of MFAI. There may be other companies looking at it but to date not a lot of realisations, it’s all about potential so who knows what price. If further realisations come along it may be on more company’s radars.

Do you reckon the Aussies are a bit peed off right now? Paid 316p for $490m didn’t they? Don’t think many expected such a drop. Anyway good to take advantage of it hey.

Depends on your timelines. I’m looking at holding long term ideally to 2030 or so, as I think gold prices will continue to rise. I don’t mind waiting a few years to realise an investment, but if you’re trading it, yep a different mindset and there will be ups and downs. I think today’s price is a decent entry and will absolutely go up over the medium to long term.

What I find crazy is you can buy Ggp shares for less than the price 5 years ago!! And it’s a different monster now especially with 100 per cent of Havieron.

After being long on my radar I decided to buy £84k worth today. For me fundamentals are strong and looking at holding long term. Excited what the future will bring here.

Personally I can’t see a Tern/Mfai merger. What would be in it for Nick Lee? Mfai is in a better financial state being debt free and no raises at the moment, just waiting for realisations. I think more probable is if another company decides to pay a premium to acquire Mfair that would get Mr Lee more interested. A merger just doesn’t benefit Mfai shareholders much imo.

Didn’t tern try buying pires (old name) for 8p but got rejected? At this low market cap who knows…
