I wonder, if IR does go south and just is nowhere near the valuation surely with all of the other AI investments market cap is still well under where it should be, especially as debt free. But yes it’s all about potential. Some of the companies may not work out, others will. The one thing that’s keeping me positive is the share options available to board are in a much higher price than current sp.

I’m hoping over the next few months we should get some news with further exits. Any ideas if they may do a share buyback or give dividends? I’m thinking potentially no in the short term but maybe medium term with further exits.

It’s an interesting one Nettles. The thing is this is Aim and we know any rise will be sold into. Not to say that kod will never get to a £600m market cap. It’s ambitious for sure but who knows in 5-10 years it may happen. All depends on spod prices, resource upgrade, gold, offtake for floatation. If I was Hainan I’d be eagerly awaiting resource upgrade to 50mt then swoop, then they get a very good deal. If they wait a few years, they are likely to be paying more. And they have a big bank roll available with Fosun, so will be pocket change for them. I think if we can get to 50mt, let’s say by the end of the year (current forecast) and spod price is holding $800-850 pt plus, Hainan will offer a buy out for £150m ish. If I am wrong then I will do a few shots of tequila which I absolutely hate and throw up immediately!

Hi guys if we all ignore silver fox chef then he will quickly realise his posts are totally pointless. Just green box him. Unfortunately I think it’s a sad state of affairs that someone is just waiting to want to be listened to and engaged with. Like a fire, don’t give it oxygen. Having an export permit is huge as it is the last major hurdle. Without it, we obviously can’t export a thing and it’s not viable. But I think it’s only a matter of time until it is granted as it makes financial sense for Mali. Who knows there may even be some institutional interest once granted. Lithium spod price is still relatively low though so not as if at the mo we will be making a load of profit. But it is likely spod price will rise eventually so for me it’s all about taking a long term view. I still think a buyout is on the cards once the resource upgrade is announced…but we’ve waited for a long time for this. I think the latest timeline is end of the year. Let’s hope so. Kod is like a bottle of ketchup. Painful waiting game but patience will be rewarded. I hope.

Indeed if we get to 50mt that’s over a 60 per cent increase. I’m confident we will get to that number at some point.

It looks like a proper solid well built plant. Wait until its big brother stage 2 floatation plant gets built…all coming together which is good to see after many years!

I would say though Lav, Acc has been one of the best contributors to this board. It’s always good to have differing viewpoints here as long as it’s kept civil.

Also think we need clarification on all of this. June wasn’t particularly rainy so doesn’t explain why mining was potentially paused since 1/6. It should all come out in the wash…but think we all need confirmation as at the moment it’s guess work

£25k possible buy though chef just come through at 1521. Don’t think trouble is brewing as such but as investors we need clarity on a few things mentioned today asap.

30th June RNS states “Mining and Processing Operations continuing on site with over 40,000t of spodumene concentrate produced and ready for export”. So I’d consider mining to be mining for ore and if they ceased mining for ore a few weeks prior that’s rather misleading for investors. We need clarity for sure asap.

Also surely the RNS 30th June is misleading then stating mining and processing is continuing?

If true why would they run out of explosives? The rest of the set up is professional so bit strange hey…

Also remember the board are heavily incentivised to get the SP higher with tranches of options being granted at 2.5p and 4p. So it’s in their own interest to push the SP up.

It’s a waiting game for sure and as an impatient person it’s hard. But I’m optimistic in the future here. Clearly there is more lithium in the ground and they’ve always said targeting at least 50mt which is a 61 per cent increase in current resource. I think providing it holds $800-850 ish pt and resource is 50mt plus Hainan will swoop and buy out. For China, remember it’s all about control, at the right price. I’m excited about the future but must sit on my hands to get rewarded. Fyi I’ve never traded kod, see the value in being here long term. I do not have the balls to trade stocks tbh!
