Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Cat - I was there, but had to leave when CS concluded and closed the AGM.
I guarantee no mention was made as to a deal being completed before year end.
If any mention was made it must of been during the informal chat following the AGM and would had been in a one to one chat.
A point appear to be missing is the reply by CS to the question has an offer previously been made that the board turned down.
Note CS replied not a material offer.
I asked “so an offer has been made?”
CS smiled and said “no material offer and if I told you an offer you would be party to inside information”
I’d suggest a offer has previously been made, and what CS interprets material as is the question.
I am attending the AGM, not expecting any earth shattering news, but hopefully a little more information in regards current sale and other company information.
I’m sure the BOD are fully aware that there are large number of frustrated shareholders due to the lack of concrete information released.
There is no denying that the taking of the Donbas was always a key Russian goal.
Does this mean Ukraine simply rolls over, of course not, but it could signify the beginning of a slow down in the aggression.

Cat - My personal opinion, I was never fixated on £1 plus.
I thought 80p - 100p and I’m extremely happy with that.
Times and situations change, and now I believe 40p -60p is a more reasonable expectation.
That said, 40p - 60p is more than agreeable to me.
Tygra - KPMG are not appointed as auditors, Grant Thornton are the auditors and have agreed to be re-appointed.
"The Company recently appointed KPMG as agent within Russia to further this strategy and although there can be no guarantees, we remain confident of a positive outcome from these discussions"
It is 100% clear that the engagement of KPMG is entirely related to the potential sale of assets.
