I have ready plenty of RNS from companies that are raising equity in order to continue operating, this RNS doesn’t read like that. If this were the reason I believe the RNS would be more detailed and state this was the reason. We shell see.

The use of the word “considering” in the RNS indicates to me that this is optional, that an event, opportunity has arisen. If one of the companies is having difficulties raising finance, UKOG perhaps interested stepping in, there maybe other interested parties. All guess work, but I do believe that if the funding requirements were purely to keep the company on a stable financial footing it would have to of been stated in the RNS.

Buy the notes for what reason? Bod not fussed about the share price in the short term. Another reason for capital raise, not redemption if loan notes.

The RNS includes the following wording “..,,,,,,announces that it is considering raising funds” Why only considering, are there alternative options, is the cash actually required for current operating requirements or is this a new opportunity. The RNS is limited in its wording, why wasn’t the specific requirement explained, perhaps it is transactional sensitive. If it was OGA or alternative listing requirements, surely it would of been stated.

I tend to think new equity raised at 0.0095 - 0.0100 Price has been pretty steady for sometime at 0.0140 and I would imagine talks have been ongoing for a little while. A 30% discount would result in an issue price of 0.0098. I really can’t see 0.0050, maybe 0.0085 perhaps. UKOG are contemplating operating as a production company, surely that should be deemed as a positive, ultimately that was always going to happen, but why now? I get the feeling cash is required for a specific reason, something changed, unforeseen requirement. If there was a going concern issue, then I’m sure that would have to had to of been included in today’s RNS. I bought a significant number of shares today at 0.0105. One things for sure price will be volatile and I’ve got cash in reserve to buy more on any additional significant drop.
