Interesting that a temporary suspension pending an announcement.

There’s been nothing leaked in recent days.

I believe there is a high probability that the announcement will be made today at some point.

Reversal?

What reversal exactly, I want this to come good, but seriously a reversal.

This isn’t POG who initiated the transfer of the debt to UMMC, it was GPB.

GPB will now received the money due to them as per the RNS.

Going forward POG will make repayments to UMMC under the terms of the original loan agreement, which will include the term repayment dates as per the original loan agreement with GPB.

POG will have their advisers review the situation now to see what impact if any it now has on the company.

One thing for sure the off take agreement with GPB is now finished.

Now that is extremely interesting!!

GPB are assigning the debt to UMMC.

In order for the debt to be assigned by GPB, it would mean GBP being paid the sums stated in todays RNS.

Who is paying those sums due………….that is obviously UMMC, as the debt is being transferred to them.

Meaning POG liability is now to UMMC.

The off take agreement to GPB will now end and UMMC will take that on.

I’m not a holder, but have an interest in Russian stocks.

I interpret this as good news.

GPB term loans and loan facilities have now been transferred to UMMC.

UMMC will as such pay the amounts due on the dates specified in today’s RNS.

POG liability in respect of both the term loan and loan facilities transfers to UMMC as opposed to GPB.

I would assume that the terms of the loan is as per the original agreement with GPB.

The off take agreement would obviously have to transfer to GPB.

It appears to me that POG board were not fully aware of this, as the last sentence in the RNS.

UMMC now the off take agent for all the gold POG can produce?

Ural Mining Metallurgical Company (UMMC) – one of the top Russian producers of major commodities including copper, zinc, coal, gold and silver. Additionally UMMC produces lead, selenium, tellurium, cadmium and indium.

I am wondering if the reason for no recent announcements from the BOD in respect of a long list of potential news items is because they are on the verge of announcing the deal, and in some way the deal is stopping these potential announcements.

Goes without saying the war is on, but as the company have communicated, this will not prevent material updates to the market.

Company have stated they appreciate that the market is awaiting various updates.

In my opinion only three reasons we are still awaiting updates:

1) War and flying under the radar until cease fire (I don't believe this to be the case)
2) No news finalised and as such unable to provide updates (possible, i think unlikely)
3) Deal/deals extremely close to completion and somehow this is stopping market updates in respect of various news (possible)

Just my thoughts.

The Ukraine/Russian situation doesn’t potentially effect EUA and it’s shareholders……….really. I think that would be news to many investors.

Russia being put in a position of pressure to resolve and back down I believe to be extremely relevant to EUA.

If the Russian army death rate is to be believed, and the situation stays the same, they may have around 25k dead since this began.

My understanding is that up to 40% on the Russian army is made up on conscripts, which would help explain the performance to date.

Putin will be under great pressure to resolve this.

I find it absolutely delusional to think he could attack a NATO country, only his insanity would pursue this.

It's nothing to do with EUA.

I see nothing in that tweet that links talks and delegation visit.

Either way hopefully today will see a positive breakthrough, feels like this is coming.

My understanding is that the European delegation are there to put feet on the ground and evaluate the situation.

Red - Russia also signed a non-aggression pact with Germany in WW2.

Maybe if Germany hadn’t of attacked Russia the outcome of WW2 maybe had been very different.

Subsequently Russia suffered extreme hardship, but never forget that initially were with Hitler.

Reuters is reporting lines from Ukraine's negotiator this afternoon, who has said he believes there could be "results" from their talks with Russia in the coming days.
Earlier in the week, the foreign ministers of the two countries met in Turkey to try and strike a deal of some sort - but the talks came to nothing.

If true this is the most positive development since war began.

Details are very brief at this stage but, further to our previous post, Ukraine's president appears to have offered another signal that there may have been some significant developments in negotiations.
We don't yet have the full quote from Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but Reuters is reporting him as saying Russian and Ukrainian teams have begun discussing "concrete" proposals rather than "exchanging ultimatums".
Again, these remarks closely follow news of a 75-minute conversation between Vladimir Putin, French president Emmanuel Macron and German leader Olaf Scholz about efforts to "end the war" - details of which all sides are being intriguingly coy about.
