Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
This has never been a source of delay to any potential disposal.
As a previous poster said, any dividend in respect of the disputed shares, deriving from a sale of assets, will simply sit in an Escrow account until the issue resolved.
It’s not an issue for EUA.
Richard doesn’t care about geopolitics, how enlightening.
We are where we are due to politics/war however you wish to word it.
Before the naysayers jump up and down………yes and also because the BOD haven’t as yet for a deal over the line.
I hold around 85k shares, including 35k shares bought just before close yesterday.
Over the 2/3 weeks intend to make a significant purchase, but have to say the fact the directors only taking £65k perhaps is a concern.
That said I believe that no directors have ever held a significant amount of shares in the company.
What are you talking about, the following clearly states considering!!!
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/europe/ukraine-considers-inviting-russia-to-peace-summit/amp_articleshow/107990007.cms
Again could invite, can be a situation, is the same as considering.
But if you think differently, then fine carry on.
Russia knows what Ukraine’s peace requirements are. The world knows what they are.
No point inviting Russia just to present them with those requirements, they are known already.
Ukraine can keep repeating what they want, it means nothing without Russia taking an active role in any potential peace discussions.
I actually find it ridiculous these talks happen without Russia participating, waste of time.
Reading Poly had four offers, but realistically only one was viable.
Also noted that in the current environment that expectations need to be realistic, think all are aware of this. Mentioned personal relationships with Russian officials important in agreeing a deal.
Would love to know if the BOD have received offers, didn’t a recent update state Heads of Terms not agreed with prospective buyers. This would indicate a fairly high level of discussions, but as yet no agreement to progress discussions to a formal contract.
Noted Poly wanted to get this deal done and didn’t want to drag on.
I think for the majority of people the situation is totally unbelievable.
My personal opinion is that the only way I see this currently ending is Ukraine showing a willingness to sit down with Russia, and that will mean ceding land, that is going to hurt!!!!
The alternative is more death, more wasted money (though some countries benefit)
It requires a new approach in order to resolve.
Like it or not, events have taken a bad turn for Ukraine.
I sense that perhaps reality is starting to dawn that the way out is for Ukraine is to cede land, as much as that will hurt.
The West is struggling and in some cases showing reluctance to provide the finance/tools Ukraine are asking for.
Russia are apparently prepared to sacrifice the manpower as required and obviously have significantly more manpower .
Unless there is an uprising in Russia I am struggling to envisage how the situation will improve for Ukraine.
Perhaps they get the equipment they are seeking, are they seriously going to take back the land currently held by Russia, unlikely.
Reading numerous articles in regards to how the everyday Ukrainian believes the war will end.
The overwhelming thought is that it will involve “diplomatic compromise” and unfortunately this will mean the ceding of land.
Any right minded person should realise the likelihood of Ukraine winning this war is extremely slim, other than NATO going all in, and that is unlikely to happen.
The idea was for Ukraine to get in a position of strength in order to negotiate, currently that position is not looking good.
Del - My point is if the aim of an EGM was to remove CS and get someone else on board, once assets sold then what for this new individual.
I’m extremely frustrated and have been for some considerable time, and have a very significant holding.
To call an EGM without a plan, without alternatives is a complete waste of time.
