i find it simply bewildering that any country could propose to accept people on Vaccine passports, this is the just the equivalent of an anti-body rest - what does this prove in terms being sure the infection is not being spread ? Nothing !!

We now know the current range of vaccines available offer 70 up to 85% protection from the severest infection 6 up to 12 months.

And since the vaccines were launched 3 months ago a little over 18 million (just over ¼ of UK population) have received their first doses, and approx. 670k have received their second dose – so 1% of our population is now fully vaccinated after 3 months - so how long to vaccinate the entire population of 68 plus million ?

No need to try answer, but we do know the vaccines do nothing more than help to activate antibodies, this is not new science, we also know they do not prevent a recipient becoming re-infected, or simply an asymptomatic (silent spreader) nor do they guarrantee immunity for any longer than 12 months (just like the common flue jab)

So my question to Boris and his firm – why are we locked down ?

Is it because we are shielding those who haven’t received the Vaccine, or is it because we simply do not know who is Infectious / Asymptomatic ? We should all know the answer to this question

So for me its a simple choice - either the Government continues with its blinkered vaccine policy – with what we have to presume will be a continual policy for the next 2, 5 potentially 10 years of vaccinating the entire UK population annually to try build up a herd immunity, and to control the re-infection ‘R’ rate

Or simply adopt the Chinese and now new German approach of mass antigen testing – which for the UK would simply need to mass produce and mail out of 20 to 40 million Avacta style tests weekly and intensively for 3 to 6 months to initially locate, isolate and kill almost every trace of Covid-19 in the UK - while testing every person passing through borders and checkpoints permanently

And when acomplished, routinely test the entire population on a monthly basis and automatically pre-test all people attending large events, which in time buys the same herd immunity without the same loss of life and economic harm

They keep talking about the famous ‘R’ rate, and why it's so important to get this down to a level below ‘1‘ yes I entirely agree, but exactly how do they know what this ‘R’ rate is – will they have tested the entire population to conclude this – or just tested the people with covid-19 symptoms who have bothered to get a test ?

Come on Boris get a grip of reality, make the right calls for the first time in your life to get us out of this mess !

If the government sincerely believes it’s vaccine program is the only answer and presuming it aims to vaccinate its entire population with a view to vaccine passports to unlock the country and economy

Why can it not guarantee there will not be further lockdowns and restrictions ?

There is very little for ever including life - yes people evolve and become immune / herd mentality like they did with Spanish flue 100 years ago without vacinnes and tests after 10 years after it had killed 50 million people -

Covid is twice / three times more potent and infectious than Spanish flue.

As it stands mass testing Chinese style is the only way out - in its absence due to democracy vaccines have to be tried first and then final resort mass testing Chinese style - then we finally get rid of it from the Uk and test all borders checkpoints for the foreseeable - then hopefully the likes DVRG (our partners) May produce the household water detection metres then we can all be at least zonally tested while we eat drink bathe and sleep !

As far back as March 2020 it was patently obvious to everyone in the world mass antigen testing was the only way out - China have now proved this several times

Our problem is we have people with little respect for the government, opinions, don’t care, can’t be bothered or can find a legitimate way out of having to que for hours then locking themselves in a room for weeks or facing jail or death

Our government know vaccines are not the solution but at present it’s all they have, and with all the scandalous mistakes overblown hope and hype of the last 12 months there’s no way on planet earth they’ll risk any further damage by declaring a final solution that is easier cheaper and safer than vacinne passports until it is finally approved and ready to go

And we can be absolutely sure than when Avacta is ready it will the most popular invention since the toothbrush !

The following are facts -

UK has vaccinated just over 1 in 4 people with ½ of the required dosage, only 643000 people (less than 1% of the population) have received full dosage

It was reported (05/02/21 fullfact.org) that 143 people had already died of covid-19 since having the vaccine (none of which were caused by it) so this means the vaccine does not guarrantee immunity

The main reason covid-19 related deaths are reducing in the UK is because it is locked down to stop the spread from both vaccinated and none vaccinated people

There doesn’t seem to be any published information available to confirm how many people were still infectious after vaccine, but we do know NHS are not specifically testing these recipients, but we do know vaccines do not prevent recipients being infectious

We also know anti-bodies for flue do not last longer than 12 months (hence annual flue jab) Covid is clearly more potent and the maximum NHS expected immunity / antibodies to covid-19 has to be just 6 months, because they are vaccinating staff now (including my wife) who had covid-19 more than 6 months ago.

The facts speak for themselves, so if the government sincerely believed vaccines were the only answer to protecting the people and fully opening up the country (as eluded yesterdays speech) they need to commit now to at vaccinating the entire population at least twice a year (approx. 138 million doses) have we heard any indication this is going to happen ?

So for me there is no possible way any large gathering venues example sports cinemas pubs clubs theatre will reopen on vaccine passports only, and no possibility any airports and customs checkpoints will ever allow passage on a sole vaccine passport – these are crazy assumptions

Avacta made it clear exactly what was incorrect about the Huff post article – if anything else was factually incorrect they would have also made this clear, the government have also not refuted the article despite the fact they are heavily focussed on the vaccine program, so they are either completely blind, couldn’t care less, or simply cannot deny it.

Either way it is fact LFT test manufacturing capability has been massively scaled up in recent months

Avacta were clear 23/11/20 they were testing both saliva and nasal options. To me Saliva or anterior Nasal are just as simple, but anterior nasal would be more dignified, but the key is standardisation and simplicity so both the most vulnerable, carefree and careless have the least possible chance of losing at least 1 part of what currently is a covid-19 multipack and screwing up the test – if we had communism like China it would be so much simpler

Innova or anything like it is simply not suitable, mass self testing takes trust, common sense, responsibility and discipline, so only reliable single piece reliable test kits will prevail and as it stands at present Avacta have the best solution available to the world and going into production shortly

COVID will be here forever - it is the new flue. Mass testing will be here in the Uk for a minimum 2 to 5 years and in the wider world for up to 10 years or until at least a herd immunity is established

What will be compulsory or forever - will be testing at all borders and airports for both covid and new variants and viruses using the devices being pioneered now, there’s no chance on planet earth any responsible governments will allow any chance for this to happen again

It’s a brave new world - quite uncomfortable for me and many others - but it’s the way it will be

As posted previous - The most important part of this result was the fact that for the 96.7% sensitivity, half of the samples were in range 22-26 Ct value - which means the patients sampled were barely infectious almost negligible viral load

This is very important and very unappreciated by most so far - quite ironical 24 CT is the median between the 22-26 CT value - so definitely 24 carat gold standard !
